I didnt make a claim in that post about affording a child or not. I asked a question based on stats provided by lil dutchy.

Also not sure I am a liberal, dont vote that way but I guess ill take the compliment.

Okay sorry my friend I read wrong. You made it read two wrong makes right. I hear liberals on radio claim women's suffrage you know like because men do not get impregnate then the women are disadvantaged so it is okay to murder children to make things fair. I swear this is only thing liberals care for. To make everything fair. So answer to deadbeats dad is kill children instead punish the dad? Twisted logic

I think that a very strong case can be made for viability. That would put a complete ban (barring medical exceptions) at ~24 weeks and require viability testing back to 21 weeks.

OK, but what about this idea of "wantonly" imposing anybody else's ideas on the world? Maybe you're beginning to agree with the whole concept of limited government, afterall.

According to my sources, the 20-week viability barrier has to do with lung development threshold. If we could just put a baby in an artificial womb and feed it all the right hormones and nutrients and whatever other growth factors the mother is supplying, the theoretical viability criteria could be met within minutes of ova fertilization. . . .

To me, a government that would dictate that would be little different from a government that dictates infanticide.

Ultimately, I'm probably for less government than you are. Have you ever taken inventory of all the government that you are for? Some of the things that I would abandon would shock you.
