Would you just shut up? You're hurting a decent discussion. I'm fine with you having an opinion, but you need to learn how to vocalize it in a different way. You're a prick that brings up dishonest arguments. As somebody who agrees with the same general message (anti-abortion), it is nauseating having somebody like you on the same "side". You're not helping anything here.

who cares the other side are supporting murder.
so if someone joins the other side of the argument because of my dishonest arguments good.

Personally, I liked it better pre-1960's -- when we could call a spade a spade, a black man a ******, a Jew a ****, a Mexican a *******, homo's ****, and we could all proudly wear our white outfits and hooded masks. Rights and political correctness are for ******* and pooh fingers. Frankly, I wouldn't complain if I could still carry around a club and bash my woman before dragging her by her hair into the house to cook me some venison. Sho' nuff.

With that said, if we defund PP, we need to set up another program to do what they do, except the abortion part. We need to make adoption an easier and cheaper process. We need to promote Foster parenting more. And this is one area where I feel Christians have really failed. We want to talk about abortion a lot, but people don't seem to want to adopt or foster kids. Honestly, my wife and I talked about it before we got married and we are planning on adopting kids in the future. I think I read an article where it said if every professing Christian fostered just one child, they would all be placed in homes. How I wish that would happen.

The problem Howard, is that the right will never, ever propose or support any program that supports women reproductive health issues, including the provision of birth control. As it now stands, the right (under the influence of its white, conservative Protestant base) is hostile to women's reproductive issues. Look no further than the (forget her fist name) Flake, who argued for women's reproductive rights and care before Congress and got absolutely crushed by the right base and its mouthpieces, calling her all sorts of names just, even for suggesting that government supported healthcare plans include contraception coverage (if I remember it correctly). So, for all of your good intentions, in the absence of PP, there would be some organization like PP, even minus abortion, and the right base would hate it just as much. Or, there would be nothing like PP, and millions of women would be absent reproductive health care, leading ironically to an increase in abortion rate.

That's the catch22 that the right base seems to overlook. They hate abortion so much that they'd kill of any organization that provides it, leading in turn to an increase in the abortion rate, as the many other reproductive services offered by these organizations actually reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies and, hence, the abortion rate.

So who would the right blame if they did get rid of PP, and abortion rates increased, other than themselves? My guess: They would blame it on the cultural dysfunctions of certain social groups, most notably minorities, and specifically blacks. It would feed directly into their 'blacks are lazy, morally deficient, welfare queens' narrative.

I'm with you 100%, though, with regards to promoting adoption as an alternative to abortion.
 
I don't exactly agree with you. There are several organizations in my area that offer pretty much exactly what PP does, except abortion, and they're sponsored heavily by local churches. Churches full of white, conservative people. I think you're exaggerating just a touch here.

Well I'm not anti-contraception. There are limited though, I wouldn't want them giving those UTI's to 6th graders like in Seattle. I guess it varies. I don't like Plan B for sure. Condoms, birth control? Go for it. Force Catholics to provide it? Naw. But yeah, I'm not going to advocate to eliminate birth control, I like to think I'm a touch more reasonable than that.
