What's new

Players only meeting.

Thats a different conversation. I have never claimed it was not rude or mean. I wasn't discussing whether it was respectful or not. I agree people should treat each other with respect only up to a point though. Once someone loses my respect I don't need to treat them with respect. But this is all a tangent and not relevant to what we were discussing.

We don't need to hold everyone to the same standards. Someone in a position of power has different standards to live up to then someone who is not for example. I can give you lots of examples when standards are and should be different.

If you want equality then start by treating people equally.

If you don't want racism then start by not bringing race into the conversation. The minute you point out skin color, regardless of the color, you crossed a line.

Don't justify crossing it because of skin color or history. Just don't cross it.

Since when do most inner city businesses alleviate black poverty?

They don't help much, but it at least keeps some from turning to drugs, car jackings, gangs, etc. If Trump can eventually get some more manufacturing over here, it would give them a better job, and with that comes self worth. This is going to take many years to accomplish of course, beyond even a second term from Trump.

No way. These people(rioters and people openly wanting to bash cops and politicians brains out) are violent. I'm peaceful. I have no desire to destroy, burn, loot, block traffic, or cause trouble for innocent people. These people are openly calling for blood shed. Me, I want us all to get along and love each other
Except when you rationalize senseless murder (or attempted).

lmao at mods handing out infractions for calling out racism and bigotry.
You called someone a piece of ****. I stand by the call, but it wasn't just me who made it. It seems like you've received enough of them to realize how things work here, but then again, that is an assumption on my part.

I'm a firm believer that if you can't to the time don't rape, beat, trespass, steal keys, possess a knife and resist. Common sense tells me none of this would happen if he didn't do that. I'm not much for woman beaters and rapist though.

I am all for better training and police overhaul to keep this from happening but I also understand that pushing your limits to the brink has consequences. Cops deal with terrible people daily and aren't murdering them. They have a right to protect themselves too.

In the end this rapist you stick up for will hopefully never sexually assault or beat another woman and I'm ok with that.

Oh and to be fair I'm all for capital punishment for criminals like Chauvin too. A good public hanging would send a solid message.

Lets not forget

I'm going to take to the senators and if they don't hear us, I'm going to burn them down too.

Explain how that is self defense.

Explain how it's a threat when he's not actually planning anything and no where near the capital. It's rhetoric to describe how extreme he's feeling. How often do you see these groups actually approach the Capital building?

By contract, right-wing groups actually bring weapons and use them/

You're a flat out liar.

I take your opinion for all the seriousness you have earned, especially when you quoted the second time I name a specific unbelievable element in the police statement in an effort to say I never made such a statement.

How do they do that? Most are owned from outside the community.

About a decade ago, the mayor of East St. Louis pointed out that even if someone wanted to open a factory there, the infrastructure to support it was no longer in fit condition. I don't think you have any idea how big this problem has become over the last 140 years.

**** the right wing extremest/terrorist.

See how easy that is?

And bricks, explosives, shields, rocks, are considered weapons when used for violence.
