Playoffs!

The Clippers face the Nuggets tomorrow and closes it against the Thunder on friday. If they prefer the Rockets and the Thunder out of their way, than the Nuggets, Mavs and us, they could tank both games (tho the Thunder may wanna tank their way into 6th if posible, but we can hold our tanking too) .

That could cost them to matchup against us in the first round instead of the Mavs, but maybe they see a bigger difference on potential risk on second round, and the Nuggets could even prefer to rest on their last game if they lock the 3rd seed.

Dream scenario for the playoffs is:
1/8 - LAL v Por
2/7 - LAC v Dal
3/6 - Den v Utah
4/5 - Hou v OKC
All of these are perfect match ups.

Yes. And I think Portland may give Lakers some trouble. Nurkic is back, Dame is on, if CJ gets hot too it may be interesting.

I realize the Lakers haven't had much to play for in the bubble, but they sure haven't looked good so far. Denver's bench almost beat them in the 4th quarter last night.

I wish Philly would pick up a couple more wins so the Jazz could move up to #19 in the draft.
Well Burks and Neto did their best today to get the sixers a win but the sun's were trying their hardest and the sixers weren't.
Burks with his 3rd game in a row with over 20 points (I believe all three over 50% shooting too). Today he has 23 (the game is still going on)
Neto also with over 20 points.

Who gives the Lakers a bigger challenge? Phoenix or Portland?
Portland probably.
Though Booker is quite impressive (jazzfanz hates him but he is amazing) with another 30+ point game today which makes 91 games over 30 points for him. Most all time for the suns.

May not end up mattering but:

OKC's incentive to tank is likely not as much about who they play as about the draft. They lose their draft pick this year if it's not in the top 20. (Remember playoff seeding and draft order is not calculated the same -- for example, if they tie with us, they'd be ranked higher in the playoff seedings due to tie breakers, but there would be a separate (coin-flip type) tie breaker for draft position between the two teams.)

I think Portland, they have more weapons.
I agree
Only thing giving me pause is that I think the sun's have been the absolute best team in the bubble so far. They are on fire.

Suns are 7-0 in the bubble.
They have beat the wizards, Mavs, clippers, pacers, heat, thunder and sixers. By an average margin of victory of over 11 points.

Thought that the Mavs/Blazers game would have it’s own thread. If Portland doesn’t win, we can’t tank the last game unless we want to play the Clippers first round as7 seed. So then we’ll get the Rockets cause OKC wants Denver

Mavs-Blazers gonna go down to the wire. Lillard just became the first blazer to ever have back-to-back 50-point games.

too much fluidity in seeds 2-4 still to be able to know what #6 or #7 will give us.
