I agree except i love their chalupas. I get chicken or steak of course

The sandwich is mindblowing for people who haven't had Popeyes, because they have always made really good chicken. So good for them for bringing new people into the brand. Problem with Popeyes is they're wildly inconsistent and the employees are rude and dgaf. And it's messy inside. And sometimes it takes them forever to get food out. And they get orders wrong all the time. Oh well, still damn good fried chicken. The sandwich is better than CFA's, but if you're craving CFA, Popeyes won't scratch that itch. Sometimes I just crave CFA and not a chicken sandwich in general.

I've never had that experience at a Popeye's. All of the locations I've visited people were nice, orders came out quick and fresh. Hardly ever got anything wrong and if they did they fixed it and usually threw in some extra chicken or whatever for free. There is always some level of inconsistency in a product like fried chicken because chicken had so little intramuscular fat it is incredibly easy to dry out.

But their blackened chicken strips, made with no breading, are always awesome.
 
The only thing I eat at Taco Bell is the Double Decker Taco, and now it is going away. I heard this yesterday and had one for dinner. They already took the Carmel Apple Empanada, the only other thing I ever ate. It is Taco Time from here on out (well, maybe I'll have another Double Decker before Sept 12).

Maybe I should try Del Taco. Or, you know, quit eating fast food.

I was always a big taco Time fan. Also taco maker was really great. They used to sell their hard shells and they were better than any other we could get.

Is Taco Maker still around? I remember one in South Towne Mall. Not sure if it’s still there.

I could really go for a crispy chicken burrito. Sadly the closest Taco Time is three hundred miles away :(
 
Went to Popeyes yesterday to get one of these sandwiches.
They were sold out.
Went to Wendy's for a spicy chicken instead
