I think it'll depend on what happens with Conley. Utah may look to keep him if Conley opts out. If Mudiay continues to do his thing and stretches the floor some, I wouldn't mind it. Re-signing Royce is absolute priority 1 this off season though.

Conley opts out if he's confident he can find a team that he'll be able to trade the 1 year haul for a longer term contract. He'd have to get healthy in a hurry and play pretty darn well the rest of the season for that to happen. I think he stays.

Should be interesting what happens with Mudiay - will teams view him as a starting caliber PG after this year? If so, he's gone. If not, who knows. Back-up PGs are a dime a dozen, The Jazz might be able to retain him on a modest deal.

Agree Royce is priority 1. But Clarkson isn't far behind.

My guess is Mudiay is the odd-man out - and that's purely as a numbers victim.
 
Mudiay has shown a desire to be coached and the ability to learn. Likewise, the Jazz have not tried to force him to be a cookie-cutter guard, but rather have improved his unique game (mid-range based).
I would love for Mudiay to have an entire off-season in the Jazz system. I think he would improve a lot (especially his 3pt%), and I think the Jazz would find better ways to integrate his game as well.

He came to the Jazz because he prioritized winning and development, so maybe they can work something out for his next contract (I would love a 3 year deal where he hits the market again in his prime at 27).
 
If Conley opts out then priority #1 would be going and getting a stretchy big with reasonable to good defense and rebounding to be able to play with gobert in big lineups or back him up.

Priority #1a would be retain Royce. But if getting the right stretchy big cost us Royce it has to be considered.

Hell even if Conley doesn't opt out getting a big to backup/ play alongside gobert is still priority #1.

They're not giving him up.
