Well, I agree that these events can be done without the nudity, and it doesn't really help their cause. The basic message gay people need to get across to people who hate them is that being gay doesn't mean you're a pedophile or obsessed with sex -- you just have a different sexual identity, that's all. Turning these parades into lewd displays doesn't exactly help communicate that message.

I completely acknowledge that that you believe that I "eventually" got around to saying we shouldn't decide other groups messages in post #9, while also noting that you are still wrong, and still in error, because I include that all the way back in post #2. That even after I pointed this out to you, you couldn't be bothered to figure it out, has provided continuing amusement for me since post #10.

I though the whole point of a messageboard was to advance your opinion on othah people's bidness? Or do you need to be gay to voice opinions on queer issues?

Besides, I know plenty about LGBT issues and queer theory. I took a class or two in college, and am actually just now adding Judith Butler's Gender Trouble to my dissertation bibliography. And who is going to deny that it's important for LGBT folks to clear up the confusion I mentioned?

I don't try to sound smart; I appreciate the compliment. I do try not to take a position on something unless I think I'm right about it. I suppose that since you find that worth condemning, that means you prattle on about things knowing you are wrong. That certainly explains your responses so far. I glad you're amuse though. We can amuse each other like this for several more pages, I suppose.
