You keep ignoring what I'm saying and making unrelated points so I can see why we probably had negative interactions in the past.
The government is the government. It is made up of hundreds of thousands of individuals all told. Many are flawed, many are corrupt, many are criminals. Despite this we have a system that sometimes uncovers wrongdoing and some of those times punishes it to some degree, even if it often seems like it didn't go far enough.
We live in a good nation that provides most of us with opportunities to live the lives we want to live. We don't live in a perfect nation. We don't have any perfect political parties. Either party can run our government and provide all the wonderful things that I love about the United States. I don't think we are in the process of losing our freedoms. I'm not afraid, I'm not living in fear. I don't know why you are.

I’m not living in fear, but I am seriously concerned. Whatever you think happened with the nord stream pipeline doesn’t even matter, the fact is it was an enormous ecological disaster as was the train derailment in Ohio. We are “recovering” from a pandemic that could also be linked to our government as well as the pharmaceutical industry. On top of it all, our government is Sabre rattling with multiple nuclear powers.
This is all the kind of **** people on the left were worried about trump doing. Trump is a psycho and he’s unstable and they were right to be worried about that with him, but why no concern about all the **** going on right now? There is some real bad **** going on.

Your ideas were criticized, especially that part where you thought you were revealing some hidden truths, and you took it personally. It happens.
Until you, or someone else, have a workable solution or at least a better choice, I'll keep voting for the lesser of the two evils.

I think a better choice would be to have conversations and try to understand different perspectives. Until folks can decide to stop prescribing to their blue or red cult membership and fighting over balloons I think finding a solution will be difficult.
It’s a top vs bottom issue not left vs right.

You know interestingly the book of Mormon talks about this kind of thing. When a society gets prosperous, it gets complacent, and, in the LDS context of course, they "forget God", and everything falls apart. Then they are humbled as society crumbles and they turn back to God. Then the cycle repeats. Feels pretty prescient right now, tbpfhwymf.

This is insane. This is the type of talk you’d see from Putin, Kim, and past authoritarians. Is this really the type of society we want? Is this a free and open democratic society? Think this is going to inspire other countries to become like us? Why is this attractive to people?

Democrats have completely ruined the word and concept of fascism. It's just something they use as an insult without even knowing what the word means. I just laugh at the stupid trigger word anymore. We get it... it's fun to say and makes you look smart... but maybe know what the word means before throwing it around like some quasi intellect. It was once a powerful word now it's useless and overdrawn by millennials.
First of all it’s stupid and barbaric… but my second response is “ the nerve of the guy to threaten to shoot someone who just threatened to shoot someone!”

Huh? Trump didn’t put any such preconditions from what I see. Do you have the full transcripts? When I looked it up I didn’t see him make preconditions. If so, then I think this could be open for debate. He merely says that if you rob a store, you can expect the death penalty. Which is absurd. You understand that theft happens in other democratic countries and they somehow manage without executing such offenders, right? I certainly don’t want to live in a country where I could be caught in a crossfire between some grocery clerk emptying a clip on some kid stealing a pack of gum. Especially when you consider the racial implications of what Trump’s dog whistle is calling out to.
