If the rep was positive you can just know you deserve it.

If the rep was negative as the "wretched" term might imply, it might figure with the general principle that negreppers are fundamentally disturbed folks who are lashing out, perhaps incoherently, at all that bothers them about life, the universe, and Franklin. Anyone who is bent outta shape about those things is demonstrating an inability to coherently deal with it all, so of course they get confused about mathematical symbols.

If you get a negrep that actually makes sense, thats when it might be productive to consider the reasoning offered.
