We don't know what happened in the lockerroom. The fact that Royce last night said people must defer to Donovan when asked about what Rudy did tells me Rudy did something quite egregious directly to Donovan. He has a right to his feelings regardless of what fans think is appropriate lockerroom code.

This whole topic needs to go away. All we are doing is pitting Rudy vs Donovan. Next thing we know, half this forum will go full on Exum/CJ Miles on the guy they like least.

I don't think Donovan should apologize to anyone. I do think maybe he should show that he thinks it isn't right that Rudy is getting crucified though.

Donovan did not mention Rudy in his IG post or social media. He told Woj that teammates weren't very happy with Rudy's actions in the lockerroom. Big deal. He didn't lash out. Didn't take shots. He pointed out the obvious.

Pretty obvious you’re the homer here. I’m not defending Rudy, I think Donovan handled this like ****.

Nah, he’s fine letting all these rumors fly, gossip go, and reports release. It’s in direct contradiction of who Donovan claims he is.
 
Exactly 100% agree with oneye. I don't defend Rudy neither. I'm the first who say he made s*** but finally if it's Donovan who talked to woj about thing's which have to stay inside the locker room, he made a worst mistake. What's the point to make Rudy in trouble more than he already is? C'mon you are frustrated, ok I understood but come to see him in private man! Why do you need to go see woj? It's not a good thing for Rudy, for the jazz and for him.

This thread is full of speculation and innuendo. Donovan said nothing directly criticizing Rudy, just that people need to be more careful. Did Donovan go to Woj and tattletale on Rudy? Who knows. We don't even know who Woj's source was. It sounds like more than one Jazz player was upset with Rudy and he apologized, so I think everyone should move on and stop speculating on things they don't have enough information about.

You're absolutely right! But please someone explain me why someone in a group need to tell woj about his frustration??? What's the point??? It's not like you are talking to your buddy in the bar. Someone talk to Woj? Have you seen the consequences on Gobert? All the hate from people after the woj's tweet??? It's insane, it's like Rudy eat the pangolin and give it to the whole NBA...

All Mitchell supposedly said to Woj was players were upset with Rudy's actions. He didn't reveal the actions. He didn't directly call him out. He answered an honest question with an honest answer.

I don't know why it's a big deal. Rudy is going to bear the brunt of this no matter what Donovan does because Rudy acted in a poor manner both in the media room and lockerroom.

I hate this society where we go out of our way to scrutinize somebody. Let it go. Rudy will survive his actions.
