I disagree. I bet if you could ask a fetus if they would rather be born to a mom and dad who dont want them, possibly kill their mom during childbirth, live in poverty, etc. or go to a perfect place where everything is awesome they would choose the good option.No. A child would rather be alive. Humans rather be alive.
I don't have a horse in this race but I can't kick it with this.
We are talking about abortion. Try to stay on topic.Well ****, we better round up all the poors and kill ‘em! They’ll be so much happier now!!
Also, if we are going to make abortion illegal and force a woman to have a child then I think the man who impregnated the woman should not be allowed to abandon the child or should be force to support the child and mom financially. If they miss a payment or aren't there for the mother and child then maybe they have a forced vasectomy or spend some time in jail. Gotta take of those kids!I’m very much middle of the road on this. Roe was clearly not a court decision that had much leg to stand on, not the way it was written. From the standpoint of the actual decision, the only legal leg it had to stand on was “ precedent“.
As far as abortion rights. Clearly all the terrible things such as rape, incest, etc. should be available. I think to a point abortion should be legal, but there comes a point where you should no longer have the choice to abort the fetus. I’m okay with “first heartbeat” sort of laws. Full bans aren’t right, fully open abortion is also not right. Safe, legal, and rare is what it should be. Congress should have clarified and codified abortion in the country a long time ago. Roe was clearly not a case that had much legitimate legal ground to stand on in the way it was written.
No you miss understood. I was talking about abortion.I hope this is sarcasm…? You really want to go tell a poor child they’d be better off if they were dead?…..This is the problem, if you’re being serious **** like this just sounds evil as hell. And it’s a wonder why people fight against it?
Like truly, what an embarrassing and disgusting statement. I know many kids that live in some less than desirable situations. I’ve never looked at them and thought “you’d have been better off aborted”. Truly and astonishingly disgusting stuff.
I saw a statistic that crime went down went abortion was legalized. So do you think this supreme ruling will mean more crime.“Banning guns does not stop mass shootings, it just keeps guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens”. Same logic. Overall, abortion numbers are going to go down. By default, sure, there will be more illegal abortions. But there will almost certainly be a net of less total abortions.
Evil stuff.I disagree. I bet if you could ask a fetus if they would rather be born to a mom and dad who dont want them, possibly kill their mom during childbirth, live in poverty, etc. or go to a perfect place where everything is awesome they would choose the good option.
Spoiler alert. The reason no legislation is even being discussed for that is because it isn't wanted by the sex (men) that generally make the legislation. TONS of people are against that. In fact, often when a woman got an abortion it was because a man wanted to her.Certainly, I don’t know that anyones against that and the legislation should be passed.
You think going to heaven is evil? Weird logic.Evil stuff.
I’m not going to guesstimate crime and abortion. Illegal abortions will obviously go up because the activity has been made illegal or more highly regulated in some places.I saw a statistic that crime went down went abortion was legalized. So do you think this supreme ruling will mean more crime.
I don’t believe in God, but I’m certain he wouldn’t want you to kill his creation before it got a chance at life. You think going to heaven is evil? Weird logic.
So you think the child would choose the crappier option? I know I would jump at the chance to go straight to heaven. I consider heaven, in the way its been described to me, as a much better place than here.Evil stuff.
