Rookie Contract Power Rankings

1- Ace - until proven otherwise his is the highest ceiling two way player on the list

2- Kessler - He is the player that has proven elite NBA skill on the defensive end

3- Flip - Also near proving an NBA elite skill, on offense though

4- Williams - Two way potential is enough to lift him here

5- Hendricks - I’ve liked his game all along- this is more of a hopium, since the #s don’t show it, more a measurables and attitude thing

6- Clayton - Mental energy and killer on offense

7- Sensabaugh - Amazing shooter- if he can add some stats to the rest of the box score, he has a path to being an all-star, may move up this list rapidly if he shows out

8- Collier - End of last season shows he has incredible potential as an assist guy, but his weaknesses are just as glaring as his strengths

9- Keyonte - Until and unless he can find a way to be efficient his spot is comepletely replacable with 50 other players in the NBA, attitude is holding him back

10- Edited to add Tonje- placeholder for now until we have more data

Lot of ways to rank this, mine is based on what I think is the median outcome for their career. Someone like Key has a higher median outcome imo but a lower ceiling for us to hope for

1. Ace Bailey
2. Walker Kessler
3. Kyle Filipowski (lot of question marks on defense, but a decent playmaking big who can shoot will always have a roster spot)
4. Keyonte George (teams are increasingly skeptical of inefficient guards, but I just think his punch gives him a "real NBA player" median)
5. Walt Clayton Jr
6. Taylor Hendricks (would be higher but we will see how he comes back. 3&D wings will always be in vogue)
7. Brice Sensabaugh (expected to have him higher, and the gap is close 5-7)
8. Cody Williams (I like Cody and love the improvement we've seen, hope he can improve but I would still say the median outcome feels low)
9. Isaiah Collier (I know I'm joining the bandwagon, but aside from the pretty glaring holes he has had some emotion outbursts like with Sexton last year that have concerned me)
10. Tonje

Pretty sure I agree with this completely. Hoping WCJ is ahead of Keyonte in six months time.

I would be comfortable saying that we have 7 rookie contract guys who are more each more individually likely to get another deal than not which is pretty good. Cody and Collier would be 8 and 9 on my list, and I might give the nod to Cody just because he has much more paths to being a useful role player. Think Collier will find difficulties making a rotation on a non-tanking team.
