so yeah! i can find 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 people to acquise any one of something. acquisations mean jack ****! especially when the evidence they brought up seems suspect

disclaimer: i am not saying he did or did not do it, i do not know. but acquisations mean jack ****!

    nope.

the "progressives", self-styled political activists are determined principled liars. Practically every word in their rhetoric is used to claim some virtue or appearance of good where the truth is the opposite. Varnished evil, whatever spin anyone tries to put on it, is evil.

When the "progressives" who used the word "turd" above.... and some who used it might imagine they are even conservatives or whatever, I know.... use that word it is part of a systematic dehumanization of people. It is at the least bullying.

We know that every human occurrence of genocide, and every lesser degree of denial of human rights, is justified by the perpetrators with rhetoric, labels, slurs, or whatever useful hate/dismissal/degradation there is that promises to effectively justify the actions of one group, believing themselves the betters, against other groups whom they characterize as less somehow. And yah, the word "evil" comes into play.

It is the process of objectification of sexuality that justifies doing abusive things to others in that department.

It is the process of dehumanization that justifies genocide, and many other abuses.

Many humans are Marxist believers, or socialists or any number of other political identities. A lot of people do stuff we can call "evil" for whatever reason, and a lot of people occasionally ponder their actions or words and feel they have been foolish, or even moronic. Even imbecility is virtually a universal element of life for all humans. The words have fair use in describing specific things about other JFC members.

But calling anyone a "turd" is off the scale objectification/dehumanization towards the person so called..

I used to like some of the stuff you write, and maybe still do sometimes. But I think becoming a "mod" stultifies members in here.

It's like all the mods, except Moe, have undergone a special course in re-education along common core lines to make sure you can no longer actually think.

Well, everyone can have a point of view or opinion. But nobody, not even a US president, is a "turd". So why is our self-professing "liberals" are going so hard on the track of Hitler rhetorically?

Propaganda through the ages has always reduced to the simplistic formula "Us good, them bad" just before the deplorables are rounded up and shot and bulldozed into the trenches.

I actually looked for the contradiction you refer to.

Mother Teresa would not have called anyone a "turd", even in Calcutta..... even in the dungheaps of the dirtiest slums.....

President Trump, it seems, does regular care for himself, wears clean clothes that smell pretty good, I bet, judging from the women who will stand close to him. Women have incredible noses. A mother can smell a dirty diaper wherever the babe is in the whole house. If Trump were a "turd", no woman.... and especially no really beautiful woman.... would come anywhere near. So, surely, he is not a "turd".

Well most Americans were respectful towards President Obama despite particularly disliking what he did in office.

Better manners would speak well for any Trump detractor.

LOL. Women have incredible noses=Trump is not a turd. How long did it take you to come up with that brilliant theory?

No time at all. Common fact of life any man with any contact with women has to deal with every day. If you have a job, she will comment on the smell you bring home from the workplace and usher you to the bath. My cows are much more "human" than a "turd". I respect them, and even if I spread the fertilizer on the garden, or in JFC, I truly know what I am talking about on this thread.
I hope you will decide to ask some nice decent woman for a date, and I hope you have the sense to take a bath and wear clean clothes.

    And dump your dealer.

There's more to the attention women accusers are being given than social reform, faux Christian moral sensibilities, or common decency. There is an agenda, and the women coming forward are being exploited to advance that agenda. Yes indeed, this is the season when women are really being encouraged to come forward with their stories.

But I don't think it is just because the establishment media, the progressive/Marxist dreamers of a world made perfect per the ideology, or DC swampthings or even the whole government bureaucracies of our society today are just pushing for their interests.

We have social engineering going on. The creation of a new society of Amazonian womanhood that will forever put actual manhood in their gunsights, and literally reverse the sexual abuse and turn it on full force against men with testosterone.

It's the next step in LGBT progress.

Sure there have been.... and always will be..... male morons who offend women and abuse them. At some point in time, every man will step into the stink on that because.... well.... males learn by testing limits every day. It's in their brains, not just hormones. Male brains are programmed risk takers. That's why the three point shot exists in Basketball for God's sake.

The campaign mounted against Roy Moore will, if we tolerate and accept unprovable accusations as the standard of public judgment..... and publicly punish such offenders, will become the same standard all men will face in the brave new world.

I believe Moore may have done some things as accused forty years ago. I have explained that in detail earlier in this thread.
I believe Moore may be going into another situation, in DC, where he will be regularly associating with pervs who have done stuff recently that would really justify public remonstrance.... like not getting elected next time.

But I believe there needs to be some due process, as in our courts generally, where evidence must be advanced to justify the action, and I wholly detest our immoral Press being trusted with the role of judge, jury, and hangman.

Yeah, don't lump me in with you as an abuser of women.

That statement might apply to you but it does not apply to me or all men.

That statement is very much incorrect.

Most adults do not act like babies and have a need to test their limits.

You are very much in the minority on this one.

I actually read it as simply stating the fact that we all offend someone sometime, often for reasons we never intended. There does need to be some level of skin-thickening, IMO, just for society to function. And individuals need to own up and make amends when the situation warrants it. If we treat this like a train track with a run-away train we will all get run over at some point, and that seems to be the prevailing course right now. This really needs to be a two-way street with reasonable speed controls. babe is right that somewhere along the line cooler heads need to prevail and due process needs to take place.

That might have been what he meant (I dont know) but that is not what he wrote.

What I quoted from him is a despicable attitude. Adults dont learn by testing their boundaries and particularly not with sexual abuse. We should not just do whatever gets tolerated and when we go to far back off.

No, there is not skin thickening that needs to happen. What needs to happen is certain people need to stop sexual abusing others. They need to be called out for it as much as possible. Yes, maybe some of these are made up but there is little to no reason for that. Yes, people accused of sexual assault need a due process, that is what the courts are for. I dont think they should go to jail until their guilt is proven. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get due process for women when sexually assaulted even by the courts. It is an awful process for them to go through and be drug through the dirt by defense attorneys.

It is a really simple thing. People who are sexual abusing and doing terrible things need to stop and they need to be held accountable and attention brought to it. For the majority of us who are not sexually abusing people we should not look the other way and should do something when we see it happening. That includes believing people when they tell you something happened.

What is happening now is great and not an out of control train.

You might get run over if you are guilty. For those of us not guilty of something there is nothing to be concerned about.

But i would like to see the definition for sexual harassment. Is any comment about a woman’s appearance considered sexual harassment? From what I can tell, the answer is maybe.

It could get to the point where men just stop trying to flirt with women in any way cause they are scared that the flirting will be considered harassment.

I’m not sure if that would be a good thing. Men stop flirting with women, get to the point where they are so uncomfortable approaching women that they stop trying at all. That’s kind of sad imo.

I met my wife at a party. I flirted with her like crazy. We ended up married with a beautiful daughter. That was almost a decade ago. Maybe that never happens in the current climate and future climate. Maybe I never make any move to show her how I feel cause I have just been turned off by the whole idea of attempting to talk to a woman that I find attractive and would want to date.

Dont worry its not leading to men not being able to flirt or talk to women. Its pretty simple how to not sexual harassment or assault people. Make sure they are flirting back or wanting to talk to you. If you approach a women and she is not interested dont be rude or make inappropriate comments. Dont comment on how a women's attractiveness or lack there of at work. Make sure what you do with them is consensual. Dont abuse being in power over someone. Pretty simple things like that.

It sounds like you did nothing wrong in talking to your wife and it turned out great. That is how it should be. If you are not someone who is doing bad things to women you dont need to worry, continue to be respectful and decent member of society.
