Rudy Gobert has got to go

This is why GMs deal in year sample sizes, not 6 game sample sizes.
If they’re decent, yes. Don’t underestimate the level that stupidity can rise to, though. There have been plenty of GMs who are fairly indistinguishable from the average fan (or worse). Kahn comes to mind.

Anyone who can't admit that a healthy Favors makes Gobert expendable as a serious trade chip is a basketball dunce, plain and simple.

You're right in a way but the problem with your argument is that there is no such a thing as a healthy Favors. Even now, when he is supposedly healthy, the only thing keeping him together, I think, is the fact that he has been shying away from contact... and I say this having watched most of the games. Look at his rebounding numbers, especially on defense; or at the fact that nowadays he almost never receives the ball on the post. Both are, let's say, "strategies" adopted by him and Snyder to keep him from getting seriously hurt, I think. That means Favors is never going to be more than a complementary player both on offense and defense. Overall, despite shooting much better from outside the paint, Favors is not close to where he was three seasons ago and he was no All-Star at that point.

In my opinion, Favors will go down as the biggest disappointment in our team's history. We have never had more hope or patience in a guy who turned out so average.

I really hate being mean, but its just the truth.

Favors was far above average. A disappointment, yes, given his physical gifts.

His best season was 16ppg and 8rpg. He never led us to the playoffs (I don't count last year because he was hurt so much and getting there wasnt on him). His only shining moment was Game 7 against the Clippers in the first round.

Our faith in him led to letting Millsap, Kanter, and AK go.

Favors is a major, major disappointment.

How many times has he delivered in crunch time? Can't think of many, besides Clippers game.

Gobert and Kanter were why they let Kanter go, not Favors. But overall yeah, it's been a let down. Injuries didn't help.
