It can be all of the aboveIf the Jazz think he is leaving then you trade him but that wasn't what was being discussed. That's a different scenario.

Did DA get this rumor in the Best Buy parking lot? Asking for a friend.
It can possibly be, but that is not what the discussion was. It was about paying him the super max.It can be all of the above
LolIf giving Rudy the max is the difference between keeping him and losing him, then you max him. This would be like spending four hours watching that paper float across from folder to folder while you were downloading an mp3 in the 90s on 56k, getting 90% there and then saying “nah, **** it, this is taking too long” and disconnecting.
I don't think he wanted to be here at that trade deadline, but I think he was good with it by summer. Memphis getting #2/Morant, Conley losing his minutes/role, and workouts with Donovan/others all made it seem like he was happy to come to a relevant team.Conley was not excited about coming here. Most reports from all the way back to mid-season last year when the reports started were that he was reluctant to come to Utah. I think he's just a stand up guy so he said all the right things when the trade happened but I don't believe he wants to be here. I think that is actually at least a small part of our chemistry issues when he is in The game.
I agree 100%. If we lose Gobert for nothing, I won't leave personally, but I could understand those who would. If this organization let's things slide and loses Gobert for nothing in 2021 then I'll just be done with it. If they supermax gobert that's not far behind in terms of mistakes. But losing him for nothing would be a capital offense and I'd seriously consider leaving the fandom.

No, because the 90% is still occupying space on your hard drive, just that it's the 90s and your mp3 player isn't going to play a file that's 90% complete. As someone mentioned earlier, we'll be operating over the cap regardless. Obviously there may be some downstream effects such as the total out of pocket the Millers are willing to spend, but without Rudy our ceiling is a perennial 6-ish seed.Supermaxing Rudy would be like when it finally finished downloading you lose all ability to add any data to your computer.

Wanting to win? Is that what you call all the pouting he did? Nah. Rudy wanted to force things he isn’t good at.If teammates were getting annoyed at Rudy wanting to win, then, well, they are the divas, not Rudy. This whole situation is big mess and I feel bad for Rudy.
Replace mp3 with Kazaa porn and I'm with youLol
awesome
To an extent sure, but I think a lot of the team has been annoyed with Rudy this season, this isn’t just Rudy v Donovan. And this is one thing I will say:
People like Kyrie didn't like living in LeBron's shadow and, to some extent, he recognized that perhaps he took his opportunities for granted. Donovan arrived here when it was still Rudy's team and though he's been the most prominent face to the franchise, he's still in some ways in Gobert's shadow where Donovan may not feel like this venture is purely his. Though there may be parts of him that wants to feel that his success has been independent and self-made, and like many different people in business that they want to "clear the deck," so to speak, when they move a business forward so they feel that it's purely "their ship," this may not prove to be beneficial for him in the long run. I believe Donovan has some humility and smartness underneath all this, but he's obviously been influenced by his rapid stardom. I think when he looks back on things, especially as legacies are built more on winning than about media appearances, instagram followers, and twitter likes, that eventually he's going to recognize, and wish, that he'd handled this situation a bit differently. I think him recognizing wasted opportunity is something that will become apparent to him in hindsight, and it may be something he looks upon with regret, especially if/when his legacy doesn't peak as high as he'd like and he realizes he had a better shot to go higher with Rudy.
