Rumors Swirling

I'd only do that deal if we lost Mike or had a great home for JC lined up. I don't think Terry would want to come off the bench. I can see a decent trade for Bogey being out there... what I don't see is the trade where we move both of them and get something that is a "significant upgrade".
I think we could consider starting Mike, Don, Terry, Royce and Rudy and switch it up at the first TV timeout. Bring in Joe for one of them.
The NBA keeps getting smaller and smaller, and we would still have the big man in the middle. Mike, Don, and Terry would be a nightmare to defend if they are all driving, cutting, dishing, running the PnR. It would be a playoff lineup for sure.

I do agree that Clarkson would have to be traded. Not much sense having Mike, Terry, Don and JC.

The jazz rolling over for Mitchell and Wade is going have disaster written all over it. They will go get players they want and they will not make a finals and then Wade will see ownership Stake, Dom will ask for a trade and Jazz fans will be hurt and it going put us back. I never liked idea of Dom being The guy on a team. Volume scorers, and that what he is let's not lie to ourselves, like TmacCarmelo they don't make it out the first round often. Maybe Dom can least make it to round two but they will bring everyone in for them and when it doesn't work blame not being able to get talent and will request a trade. The way to build a team in small market is how Spurs, How Bucks now,Nuggets now are doing it. Get international players, they are way more loyal and then get under the radar guys who appreciate the chance to play like Middleton
And Jru are.

Building around a high volume scorer who is undersized at the 2 spot is not going be successful. We couldn't make it to WCF this year in an injury based western playoffs. They not going beat Lakers Suns Nuggets next year in playoffs. Those three are clear and shoulders better to win in playoffs. Clippers are going be back, Maverick are going be better , Memphis is on the rise . The future is Bleek for Jazz. You can say they had a great year this year and they did in regular season but then couldn't be a clippers team without Leonard and with Playoff P as their best player. Jazz are just not built to win when it counts. Building around Mitchell is going be a mistake down the line just wait and see. The only way it could change if Mitchell goes work with Stockton instead of wade and learns how to be a pg. Cuz now in fourth in playoffs last two years Nuggets and Clippers Dom was horrible in 4th. Gary Harris forced him into turnovers and then this year Lue sent double teams and he panic and turnover machine. I know it's not going be popular but I would flip Mitchell and build around international players and players who ha e ties to Utah. Utah is not like any other NBA team so they gotta do it differently

He appears to be a volume shooter but his efficiency has improved every year despite more usage. In other words, he might continue to improve a little more and not be simply, some pure volume guy.

2 of our best 3 players were also injured. Cannot discount this fact.

Clarkson?

I’d definitely move Favors and Bogey, but it’d take a really, really good deal for me to want to move Ingles.

Ingles is by far the most versatile player of the three. Also, what are the odds he retires after next year.

Low but covid. Australia is a lot safer for his family
