Is this about Newt Gingrich's plans with his 5th wife when he finally gets those moon colonies established?
 
I have actually had this book in my queue for a bit now, but have not gotten to it. It sounds fascinating.

it is a quick read and very interesting - - it kept my attention, which is saying a lot these days. written by the same guy who wrote "Bringing Down the House" (made into the movie "21") and "Accidental Billionaires" (the book the facebook movie was based on)

I thought folks here might know a bit about the story since the protagonist - Thad Roberts - is an excommunicated Mormon who grew up in Utah and was a floundering student at the University of Utah when he decides to try to become an astronaut, so he studies geology, physics and astronomy, does really well and lands a internship with NASA. He ends up concocting a plan to steal some moon rocks from a NASA lab and I won't say more because it would give the rest of the story away.

We're discussing it tonight at my book club so thought maybe some of you might be familiar with the story. The book is pretty new (2011) though the story takes place around 1998 - 2002.
 
Isn't Sex on the Moon a book about some guy from Salt Lake who stole the moon rocks and then had sex on a hotel bed with them on the bed with him?

I'm being dead serious right now too.
