I don't understand why BYU fans are talking trash. Did Utah suck last night? Sure did. But 54-10 is all that needs to be said and I don't even hate BYU. I'll even pull for them if they are playing someone that isn't Utah. Anyway, 54-10

BYU fans need to shut the **** up. They got throttled by Utah and showed their idiocy by rushing the field after their win Friday night over a mediocre team. Way to set the bar high.

Who's talking trash? I haven't seen one post of a BYU fan talking crap. Sensitive much?

I think reality is setting in.

None of the Utah schools are that great this year. Utah doesn't have a QB (and probably isn't going to the Rose Bowl), BYU has no offense, Utah St. chokes, Weber State is a classic Ronnie Mac team (can upset a good team one week. Follow up the big win with an equally devastating loss against a terrible team), and SUU lost.

Snow College anyone?

I think all started the season with high hopes. And all, to an extent, have underachieved.

Utah has some really nice talent. Chow is capable. But that QB situation is ugly. If Wynn plays, his play is pretty ugly with that arm. When he doesn't? The backup has had no experience and leaves the offense is a bad situation.

BYU? Might have had the highest expectations of all Utah schools. they've sucked.

Utah St was supposed to take that next step. They haven't. If anything, I think frustration has/will set in. They've proven capable to compete at an extremely high level. And they've sadly proven capable to choke unlike any other team...

Maybe this NBA lockout needs to end so we can all start cheering our Jazz again?

I'm not sure if your comment is directed at me or not. But I'll just say that I'm not talking trash about BYU vs. Utah now. Utah clearly showed it was the WAY better team this year. That doesn't mean that I can't talk trash about Salty's prediction that Utah would compete for the division title this year. Or the fact that he is still trying to slavage that by saying things like this:

Nothing is better than a fan validating his failing argument with a bunch of "if's" and "but's".
 
Utah is still very much in the running for the PAC 12 South. In fact, if Utah wins next week, the division is Utah's to lose.

I know that is difficult for a BYU fan to understand, since BYU's season is over after the first loss. And I know it's painful watching your rival thrive even at their worst of times. But the reality is Utah only has 2 conference losses. If Utah beats Arizona State next week, the following week Arizona State is at Oregon. And the rest of Utah's conference games should be easier than the 2 they have already played.

The good news is that if you guys keep thriving like this, Real Salt Lake will be drawing bigger crowds than you soon.

Hey we all saw the BYU fans trying to set the record for fastest stadium evacuation during that Utah blowout win. Our crowd wasn't nearly that bad last night.

You can hope to keep winning so you can hopefully watch your team in the Armed Forces Bowl. I'll keep hoping the Utes win so they can hopefully go to the Rose Bowl. Maybe it happens, maybe it doesn't. But worse case scenario, the Utes will definitely be in a better bowl than the Armed Forces Bowl.

BYU for a quarter.... maybe even a drive... could have made a case for a national championship.

Utes have had some nice spurts. But they're not there yet. They still need to find a qb and a decent o-line. They have some nice skilled players though.

Wow, did trout actually play the 1984 card? Seriously, posting a pic of a 27 year old trophy as a rebuttal to a 44 point beatdown that happened 2 weeks ago? Thats the weakest **** Ive ever seen.While we're at it would you like to discuss the 1928 Harvard-Yale game?

I'm a BYU fan, and I'm with you on this one. Having a national championship from 1984 (split decision, even, if I recall correctly) does not have any bearing on whether BYU or U of U has the better current program. The beatdown a couple of weeks ago, however, does. Maybe the Y will be better than the U next year, but we certainly weren't this year. Case closed.

Agreed with Colton here. On the flip side, anyone who comes at me with, "Scoreboard, clown" is going to get this shoved down their pie hole. I'm pretty positive that I haven't made a post since the BYU/Utah game that said BYU was better. We got trounced. Nobody is debating that. The fact is, you guys suck *** too and when someone (me) pointed it out, you went all sissy-insecure-Salty on me and pulled the "Scoreboard" line. If we're really keeping score, then fine, I'll keep score: BYU 1, Utah 0. Anything more than that is not relevent, just like your third place trophy. Have the balls to admit that your program sucks wang also, and stop getting your panties in a bunch when someone hits you with a dose of reality.
