Sirkickyass, Moderator.

Unfair Moderator: If a user ever feels he/she is being treated unfairly by a moderator, he/she may contact the JazzFanz.com administrators.

An honest question, in keeping with my general desire to not to try to make this thread ugly through my actions: Hopper, have you ever contacted a Jazzfanz.com administrator about me?

If not, I believe your obvious recourse is right in front of you.

Well, Kicky, I just asked Colton a question in this thread. He probably hasn't seen it yet, but if and when he does, I guess he can either respond, or not, as he sees fit.

I will PM a link to that post directly to him so that he will know to take a look at it. In the meantime, I may suggest that if you wish to contact a jazzfanz.com administrator about what you perceive as an unfair moderating practice a private message or e-mail through use of the "Contact Us" page may be the most efficient way to lodge a complaint.

In the meantime, would you object to my bundling a few of these threads together (off the top of my head, I'm thinking about this thread, the victims thread, and the Rodney King thread) into a new thread with a stylish title? Perhaps "aint's complaints?" Or are we pretending these are about separate subjects?

Thanks for the tip. I have done that before, but never received the least bit of acknowledgement, but, who knows, mebbe the third time will be the charm, eh?

Yes, I would mind, and they are separate topics. But why ask me? Do whatever you're gunna do, eh?

Poorest me!!!!

BRING THE IRON HAMMER DOWN.

Unless, of course, it benefits me, than you're just an idiot who finally saw the light.

If not, OH, THE HORROR, OH, THE HORROR.

As for the voting, that doesn't happen in the public eye, but Kicky has said that he abstained from voting in instances where he was involved in the conversation, and I believe him. That would seem to close the issue. Or am I missing something?

For what it's worth, that's the policy--not just for kicky, but for all of the moderators.

Really?

Yes, that's been our policy for as long as I can remember (with perhaps just a few exceptions back in the days before it required a vote of three moderators to issue an infraction).

Well, OK, Colton, thanks for the response. I recently got an infraction for replying to Kicky (which made it one too many posts in a row to suit him, even though I was replying to other posters also). I was told that Moe did not vote on that infraction, and if Kicky didn't, that doesn't leave many left. I take it for granted that "policy" was followed, of course, but you can correct me if I'm wrong about that.

On the other hand, if the complaining party is himself a moderator, I guess other mods would automatically vote for an infraction, sight unseen and circumstances unknown, even.
