Six games in and...

There was a play when Burks was pressing his man hard past the 3 point line, then a pick came and Burks got buried hard. He was completely out of the play and his man had a wide open lane to the basket. The player got all the way to the rim where he was met by Favors who sent his shot in the opposite direction with ease, right into one of our player's hands. If this happend during the Okur/Boozer era, it would be 2 (possibly 3 due to an AND 1) points. That is the importance of having good shot blockers.

Favors made some of the blocks look easy. He has great reach and barely left his feet.

Your face doesn't exist.

Neither does yours.

If this forum wasn't a bunch of asscheeks I'd recommend meeting you half way for a poker game, $29.99 buy in, free ride on teh short buss, Spazz blessing our safety (and driving) and we do the Battle Mountain extrordinaire!!... whatever that is. But your face doesn't exist and this place is asscheeks so teh fun is to be stifled.

Hate to interrupt the little girl pms convention, but BACK TO THE TOPIC. The Jazz have not played well. Granted they have played good enough to beat the teams that they should, but are yet to go above and beyond. We obviously dont have the right pieces of the puzzle. KOC needs to get on it. We are in excellent position to make a big trade. Its the beginning of the season and with our Okur faced million dollar bills, we should be making some offers to make this team a playoff contender. I dont think KOC will do anything because he never does, and before the season started he stated that we dont need to make any moves and staying where we are at with the roster may be the best thing. REALLY?? How is being content with a team that can only win against > .500 teams be the answer?? C.J., Bell and Mansap (as much as I like him) are guys that are going to get attention when placed on the block. Make a move!!!

Keith Mcleod

There were great myths on this board about Sloan. The not playing rookie thing was the greatest. Jerry's use of rookies was similar to most NBA coaches (and virtually all the good ones) The rooks who knew what they were doing and were ready got plenty of play - Deron included. Nice thing with Sloan was it had nothing to do with where one was drafted or what the hype was. If you fit the need you played.

My face knew you were going to say that.

I should work on my class c license for future road trips, you know, just in case the cheeks turn in to freaks.
Just so you know, my clairvoyant face says it would have been a good time had by most.

I think dinner was included in the $29.99 buy in.

Hey Lakers slapper, I'm staying off topic because the topic stinks, and is for little girls.:D

LOL, farthest I have gone in a movie theater is some heavy making out.

That'll get you poptarts and a carny dog, but you're buying your own damn movie ticket and you had better come in for a night cap after you drop me off. If not then this could get real ugly...

That is what the $29.99 was for. Try to keep up.
