Some Musings on the Jazzfanz of Yore

Saxon was one of the few from before my times--I'm guessing he was RealGM and earlier--but I always liked the guy. If he was your first major troll, I think it shows how far trolling has come in the past decade.

Yes Saxon was before this board, I think he had less than 500 posts on the old Jazzfanz board which is saying something for him because he could amass that many in a day. He was my first troll and what a perfect sterotype. Unemployed, living in his mother's basement, his big accomplishment was walking a mile to 2 a day. He was so much better and more comical than the current variety.

I still have hopes that JDJ will show up. I think he posted on the board sometime in the past two months.

OSR and JDJ are def. missed. Even if I did tend to argue with JDJ a lot, tater, how could you leave him out??

BTW pearl - bring back the vest!

you can view the old site through the way back machine if you so desire as well, unfortunately, ive yet to be able to read actual posts...

Apparently Pincus is still at it. He was just referenced on one of the Lakers' writers Twitter feed.

Freakazoid's posts were always entertaining to me.

Mebbe yo *** aint heard, eh, Boonie? This here joint aint about entertainment. It's SERIOUS BIDNIZZ, I tellzya!

That said, one of his most entertainin posts, when Denver first got AI, was "you can kiss the division title goodbye." We hadda lotta fun wit dat one.
