People who say that hate something and then do it thinking it is a joke. That's my pet peeve.
Why would it be a problem? Are the ugly women the only ones you can hang with? Are even moderate looking women out of your league?
Besides porn the vast majority of lesbians I've ever seen are pretty damn ugly.
