Eurobasket in a few days. This is not an ordinary friendly. German bench players stink so France starts to pull away. The games are getting more intense.

Friendlies are still friendlies. Teams aren't going 100%. I was listening to a podcast yesterday that said the friendlies are laughable compared to the actual tournament in terms of competitiveness.

Germany haven't scored for 7:25 in the second quarter until a FT make with 2:35 to go. They also didn't score in the last 4:50 minutes of the first Q. That's over 12 minutes without a score.

I'm thinking Pleiss is too soft and skinny for the NBA. I don't know how much you can do in teh NBA when you are 7'2 but don't block shots or have enough girth to defend the post.
