Summer 2015: FIBA games of Utah Jazz players

I agree with Cy. You think that French coach did a good job? First his team is coasting in the first half with a double digit lead and then he takes out Rudy, followed by the rest of the starters, and before you know it, Finland catches up. Then the same thing happens in the second half. Then to make matters worse, because the offense is stagnating -- is it Rudy's fault that he's setting picks and the guys with the ball are not moving it? No, he blames Rudy, takes him out and the Fins start making layups and the double digit lead evaporates. Here he has the best rim protector in the world -- that's what the commentators are saying, and he takes him out of the game. You call that good coaching or just stupidity -- brain dead coaching is what I call it.
Dude it's basketball innovation, all NBA teams are doing it now.

Who the **** is saying that? I spent two pages insulting the coach. His rotation choices were moronic. However, to use him as representative of all European coaching ever is, frankly, stupid.

And the Finnish coach who took out his leading scorer, who was big plays on both ends, in crunch time. Genius move. Basketball innovation. I hope Snyder pulls Burks out of close games if he is playing well. #BasketballInnovation

Camera also panned to the dude breathing so heavy that he was on the verge of collapsing. He checked back in, and botched several plays. If he doesn't have he mental acuity to stay ready at all times then I doubt his mental 'clutchness'.

Am I saying all Euro coaches are bums? No, but a large majority of these national team coaches are.

And a large majority of American coaches are bums too. There's probably at least 15 coaches in the NBA that I want no where near the Jazz, let alone college and the D-League.

Lol. He could have played more, or he should have been given a shorter rest.

I guess riding the hot hand is below complex European strategies.

Yet they could out coach most Euro coaches.

who is "they"? The top 10 euro and top 10 American coaches are on-par with each other. You being American means that you probably couldnt even name 5 European coaches-- yet you act like you can compare them.

The best Euro coach is an assistant coach to LeBron.

Blatt was not considered the best Euro coach when he moved to the US. Try again.
Lol. Try again? Best is subjective.

I'm waiting for one of these great coaches to come to the best league in the world and have success.

As player skill goes up, coaching becomes more difficult to be a standout. That's why you think NBA coaches are worse. The same guys you think are bad or mediocre NBA coaches would look better in Europe.

Didn't see those pages, was trying to get the game back on ESPN3, but it never happened. I don't have a strong opinion about the Euro coaches, but the Turkish coach last year was horrible too. Blatt was good but he's an American.

So far Dantoni is the best to do it with his gimmick offense with no D. His career was carried by Nash and Amare though.
