The goal isn't to become better via trades but to become worse.

Burks is just starting to show how good he could be in a year or two vs a draft pick that's unproven also there is 3-5 impact players we can get with our own pick dumbass! And Burks is starting to look like an impact player!

Burks will join the elite of Robert Whaley, CJ Miles, Jeremy Evans, Eric Maynor, Raul Neto, et al. who may not be bad players, but are over hyped and overvalued for how little value they actually bring.

I think that as long as Sloan will be around the Jazz we won't tank with purpose.

Probably the reason Kobe hated him and why the Lakers stuck Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on him as his mentor from day 1.

Yes because doing this trade is guarantied to get us Parker, hell we could just as easily get Wiggins Parker Embiid or Randle without having to give up Burks or Marv, who could be a very usefull role player when we finish the tank business at 3-5 million playing both sf and stretch 4 off the bench. I'd rather have Burks and one of those guys than one of those guys with no Burks and potentially no Hayward.
