You're right there are dozens of other pictures and although that one was really popular to put it in any place to recall the Cliff days, my main problem is good posters getting banned so easily for really unnecessary applying of rules overstrictly. But emphatically you might get offended by the 2nd post as he refused to obey your rule. Maybe I might have done the same thing. And I still wouldn't blame you or your rules. I just feel sad for a good contributor who was absent for a while getting kicked out so easily when you guys in the mod team have a chance to use your subjective opinions to avoid being too harsh against these kind of events. Maybe you are. And I don't see it. As any person, wrong is more striking than right to my perception.

I'm not a huge fan of infractions. But a huge giant F-bomb in the middle of a picture on a site that doesn't allow the word to be seen is just unacceptable. I thought it was about as uncontroversial a move as could be made. There are pictures of scantily clad women that get reported are much more borderline than that one. That one was about as easy a call as you can make on this site if you apply the rules here.

You tell it like it's a big deal. If you gave infraction to most of the reported ones, what kind of a mod would you be? Maybe I don't understand you guys' moral background enough and I bitchly misthink you can flex those rules of yours most of the time when you desire to. My bad. Keep applying them.

I'm know you're not. You gave me one once and then made the explanation when I edited that I don't know why it got deleted. It was in the NBA Fights thread and the video I posted included curses which I lack to realize or care since as you've said or Sirkickass said, English is not my mother tongue or I'd be banned. I appreciate this kind of attitude and encourage you to flex it even more. I don't think most of the people here get offended by the things that receive infraction but instead they might be sole targeted to give the poster trouble by another one. But then again, I may be wrong about that too. I feel like I don't comprehend you guys' moral background enough.

Let's just say that in Utah, moral background can change at any moment. Usually dependent on who they are trying to impress.

No, I said that more in response to the posters who complain about how many infractions are issued. Oddly enough, it's those same posters who seem to have a hard time playing by the rules.

um, unless there's some sort of espionage taking place, most of you have no idea what gets reported, and how the voting goes on those that are reported. Plus, until someone is banned, or if they mention that they received an infraction, you really don't know the final outcome. And a lot folks will comment that they've reported a post, but they never do.

an exception would be if we edit a post, because that is noted in the post, but you wouldn't know whether we issued an infraction or warning (or even just a PM reminder)
