Mormon bashing is *prevalent because people decide to bash on something they disagree with rather than respect it.
It has nothing to do with calling someone out for being rude.

So I had a disagreement with NAOS, it happens.

Who am I, DWill and he's Sloan? It's all my fault he left?
I called him on what I thought was a rude joke and said I thought about giving him a neg, then he negged me and quit.
If I quit every time someone called me on something I'd be gone and back as much as Trout being banned and returning.

He'll come back with another name. I didn't wish, nor do I wish him gone. I hope he comes back with another name to add his input.

No offense, but you've been on a bit of a mean streak recently tearing up posters left right and center. Whatever happened to the kind hearted Spazz?

Well it depends. If it's like a 50/50 type thing, or just a matter of opinion, I usually try to take it on the chin let it go. Different people are entitled to their opinion. There will be people who sided with you, and there will be people who sided with the other person.

On the other hand if I'd said something truly stupid or trolled too far, then yeah I deserved that neg or that strong telling off.

Sorry to be blunt UGLI, but she has truly been the shining light here at JazzFanz IMO. She has single-handedly carried the torch of kindness, peace and righteousness. Try to find a single trolling post from her - you won't.

I remembered 1 thread in GD a couple of months back about "Ask a woman.. " something or rather. You guys were throwing all sorts of ridiculous/borderline rude questions at her, and yet she was able to answer them all graciously. Without any insults/sarcasm I might add.

Now that's class...


It's truly a sad day here at JazzFanz, and I don't know about you guys, but I'll be in mourning for the rest of the day....

For what it's worth, I negged him for the "magic underpants" comment, and in his not-so-polite request to remove his account he mentioned both you and me by name. But I'm not losing any sleep about it. I told him I would have negged someone who made a "magic beanie" comment about an orthodox Jew's yarmulke as well.

NAOS was one of the board's most esteemed trash talking, stalking, haters. Mostly a nuisance.

Having said that, I like all the different personalities and wouldn't be upset if he returned.

Also, the exchange between Spazz and Naos was incredibly mild compared to all the stupid stuff Naos was spewing to hantlers... granted, hantlers is a douche, but still..

It's funny how many people on here take this site far to seriously. I like coming here and reading the site. Otherwise I wouldn't. Got to admit it's not as good as it used to be but still enjoyable or I wouldn't be here.
