What's new

That moment when Exum "got it."

Sure. If handles also means footwork, hesitation, spins, etc. then yeah that's what makes Tony Parker special. This is stuff than can be developed, the raw skill is there.

I'm only trying to say that he isn't getting wherever he wants on the court. His handles are his primary limitation.

In my opinion Hayward will opt out too. Anyway I would be ok if the Jazz build the team around Gobert, Hood, Exum and Lyles. Hopefully we can resign Favors too.

The Jazz did all their best to make Hayward happy, now he has to show some gratitude at least not opting out at the end of this season.

Yeah maybe he wants somewhere where he can strut his hot wife and fashionable hair around a big city. Or does he stick with the relatively chill atmosphere of SLC? Because if it's all about being on a great team that might win him a championship I think he stays in Utah. Also where he raises his kid(s) might be a factor.

Good point, I can agree with that. They aren't an abomination at all but you're right they aren't as crisp as needed to really utilize his ability. For me, I still think the potential is there because that is something that could very well be developed over time as opposed to trying to develop a quick first step or playmaking ability.

Honestly speaking I don't know how much Hayward is attached to the Jazz jersey. On the other hand Gobert always shows us his happiness to wear the Jazz jersey.

I hope Hayward stays with the Jazz, if it won't happen then I hope the Jazz won't lose him for nothing in exchange.

Opting out doesn't mean he's leaving, and it's a no-brainer move.

I wouldn't says he's "got it" yet. He only attacks when he's completely comfortable. It's like a shooter who will only shot when he's wide open. When Exum puts himself in uncomfortable situations, get's knocked down, and then comes back for more...That's when his game will take off.

Austin Rivers?! Oh man, I can't wait to see what he can do against DJ Augustine, Delladova, and Earl Watson. I have front row tickets to the Raymond Felton-Dante showcase. So, so, stoked.

What's Trey Burke up to nowadays? I expect his career is about to break out like a ****, now that's he's out from under Snyder as a coach.

While our other key players are jack of all trades, master of none types, Exum and Gobert are our two players that possess elite attributes. Gobert already is an elite rim protector, defensive anchor/communicator and rebounder, Exum already has elite speed and defense. I can see Exum getting his playmaking to elite level as well, and the rest is up to how hard he'll work.

Though this season, at least until the ASB, should actually be considered Dante's rookie year because before he got drafted he basically had zero organized bball experience so the first season he was well behind the rooks coming out of college.

Trey was always a standout in preseason. So you guys can joke all you want, but we're really hurting without him right now.

I think Alec Burks has an elite attribute as well in getting to the rim. It's just a shame he is also becoming elite in injuries.
