The Gordon Hayward Experiment...you know the drill

You know, CJ had a monster game at the end of his first year too. We have to accept that Hayward might not be what we all thought he was. Both CJ and Hayward were thought of as good passers and pure shooters when the Jazz drafted them. Larry insisted that CJ was a future star in the league. It's pretty clear now that CJ won't be, at least not on the Jazz anyhow. If Hayward becomes CJ, I wouldn't accept it as a success, but how are they different? Attitude? They both are kinda goofy cheerful players, and lately hasn't it been said that Hayward is lacking the nasty? Isn't that CJ's problem? Mentally not focused?

Hayward better get his game together or he's going to get passed up by Howard, which really bites for the rebuilding process.

The difference between Cj and Hayward, CJ makes bad decisions even in his best games, when Hayward plays bad and cant make any buckets, he still make couple of assists and help the team. I think Hayward is incomparably better player

Lets take both players what are the pluses of AK then Hayward. They aren't the same player obviously but I would think you would put defense high on both lists, being a creator, and a good passer. Where do you see they differ. Hayward isn't there but for all the hate AK gets Hayward is like AK jr and not even as good as AK. So, up until now where was the hate??? All I have seen is rave reviews of KOC for taking Hayward. I'm not antiHayward I just don't like where he got drafted and this overwhelming expectations for him he is going to be a great role player not someone to build a franchise around.

I want to go on record here.

You people are fools. All you need to do is stop, breathe, and realize that you're agreeing with KOC BEGONE. All of this psycho-analyzing is getting to be a bit much. Gordon will be fine. He has the tools and the fire, and will be one of the greatest Jazz players (not statistically, but in the mind of the fans) in recent memory. To compare him to Chucker is really making me want to vomit. CJ is not a good basketball player, plain and simple. Sure, he's good enough to play in the NBA, but after 7 years, it's obvious that he's not a real contributor.

I wish I could sticky this post so at the end of the season, you can all rep me for being the voice of reason among the din of stupidity.

Love,

Trout.

Losing your drones are we. Do you feel alone???

Go back to your shrine and negative rep it all away.

Yes. My drones. Good call.

I am pretty sure, but I'd have to check...

Ya, I'm sure. All of you buffoons were saying the same crap to me when I began the crusade to end the C.J. Miles experiment. If not for that thread, I'd probably have triple the rep of all of you. I'm far from educated in basketball. I'm far from educated in sports in general. I'm pretty damn dumb when it comes to book smarts as well. I am, however, a terrific judge of talent and desire, and the Gordon Hayward experiment needs to keep moving forward.

p.s. BYU is going to beat Utah this year. Book it.

I liked the Bobby Hansen and Scott Padget refrence. The hopes for a Harpring like career are fading fast, I hope he somehow stretches into being compared to Ronnie Brewer. I won't try to peer into his soul from a desk 80 miles away, but the numbers show some unflattering trends.

%39 fg, %24 from 3pt. Less than 3 rpg and about 4 apg. 0.7 blocks and .3 steals.

I am willing to ignore the shooting numbers but the lack of rebounds, blocks, and steals is very discouraging. Those are hustle plays that he could be making if he made the effort. He is passing pretty good, but the Dude has gotta to find other ways to contribute.

Just looked at Haywards Soph. college numbers:

%46 fg %29 3pt. About 8 rpg and 1.7 apg. 0.8 blocks and 1.1 steals.

Again, do not want to sound like broken record but it is one thing to play and perform in April when team is out of playoff race, where is is no pressure and you know you will get minutes despite mistakes and it is different when games matter and there are better players waiting to play on the bench. At the end - Hayward is what he is, poor mans Harpring with better passing and worse rebounding. No GOD.

To put Hayward into the same sentence as Chucker J. Smiles is blasphemy. A good friend of mine said something to me once, and I think it applies to you as well:

Log out of JazzFanz, and then log out of your life.
I'm letting this one go, but by all the Gods, if I see this kind of crap again, I'm going to have to verbally assault you via the rep system.
I sincerely hope you are kidding, remember I have a tough time with sarcasm on the web.

If not, HAHA neg rep away, I don't care a lick about the blasted rep system, just know that everything I have said was true, (supported by later posts) and that you'd be doing it based on your personal problem with CJ, not rational thinking.
