I watched nearly every game he had in the G-League. He plays more like Boris Diaw than Favors. He just isnt aggressive enough or athletic enough to overcome his size to be a center in the NBA. I was hopeful for him, but it just didnt look good. I dont think it's a reps thing either.Besides shot-blocking... what things exactly? On everything else, I honestly think Morgan has an edge if he gets a chance to develop. He's certainly a better three-point shooter.
Even when he played in the Denver series, he didnt look good enough on switches (he was giving up more space to Jamal Murray than Rudy Gobert was).
I think he is strictly an energy 4 who makes the right play. His swing skill is going to be 3pt shooting, which we will see if that develops. He shot it in the G-League well but looked pretty trash in the Denver series.
