The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Not sure what Orlando thinks of his future. They probably can afford to re-sign him and he makes a lot of sense with their team, especially given WCJ's cheap deal.

But the same year they would have to re-sign Isaac is when they would have to re-sign Wagner (for sure max) and Suggs (wont be cheap).

Also Isaac being really conservative might draw him to Utah. Might be a rare mid 20 year old who isnt turned off by the idea of the Jazz.

This can't be right. Cy assured me that Dejounte wasn't very good.
And trae is like way good. (Even though they are playing better without him)

So now the old Minny owner is like “nah yall missed the date so I’m taking the team back”.

Super hilarious. Not sure what’s best for us but this is so bad for Wolves fans. They deserve better.

Minny fans are just fine. The rest of the team will still probably be sold within a year or 2 but the value will be for more. Since he agreed to sell the team it is now worth significantly more with them being a winner and Ant becoming a future face of the nba.

There are some winnable games for the Nets coming up. They still have to play the Pistons and Raptors. Should be easy wins for them for us to get to 8

Murray just done it again against the Celtics. I bet Hawks is legit thinking about keeping him over Trae. We missed a big opportunity for sure and our season would've been so much different had we gotten Murray to pair with Lauri.

Thr man took 44 shots to score 44 points.

There are some players in this league if they took 44 shots they would score at least 80. Imagine being that much of a ballhog and only getting 44

**** no I don't want him

Crazy how big of a lead the celtics have on second place in the east. They are WAY ahead.

What Murray is doing with this skeleton crew is so impressive.
I think they move Trae and it ends up being the right choice… maybe for both guys. If Trae ends up in SA Wemby may be able to cover for him on defense. I think DJ makes it easier to put an average defensive roster together. IDK but Murray has stepped up and carried them when they could have packed it up.

I'm relatively high on Trae, but I think they are better off with one or the other. ATL would be in a much improved spot if they can get a fair trade for Trae done. SAS would be pretty damn good as well.

I think as your leading scorer/ball-handler he is a solid floor raiser akin to D'Angelo Russell.

I just dont see anyone winning anything of significance (like getting a top 6 seed or advancing out of the first) with Dejounte taking as many shots as he does without getting to the ft line IF he isnt offering elite defense.

Meh...he's not a guy that needs to be 30% USG nor does it seem like he wants to be. But he's probably also not a great fit next to one of the most ball dominant players in the NBA. Dejounte can be a part of a winning team, just because he's playing with the skeleton crew now does not mean that's all he can do. There's a lot of middle ground between what he's doing now and what he was doing playing alongside Trae. Trae is a great offensive player, just not great for DJ.

I would love to have J. Isaac on this team. I would consider trading the 8th pick this year to get him.

But we might not want to be that good next year. If he stays injury free that would boost our record. Ugh I hate rebuilds.

I feel like the guy from Jurassic Park when he first sees dinosaurs seeing some of Wembys stat lines. 40 pts, 20 rbs, 7 asts in a clutch overtime win at 20 years old. Lord have mercy on the West

Tic tic tic goes the countdown til the first high level star is drawn to sign with SA to play with him.
Then the next one.
Then he bolts SA to play for Lebron's expansion team in Vegas.
Grave it in stone.
