The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

I would be so upset if I'm a wolves fan. You traded away a player that had good chemistry with the community and other players for nothing. You're now trying to trade away the player you wanted the most in that deal..... just a disaster
Exactly. This team is totally dysfunctional right now. Their rookie PG Dilligham play really well in the fourth and once they got 5 point lead, Finch put back Randle and ANT who try to play the hero ball and dig the hole... ANT look like bad Don right now, Randle is Randle....Rudy get 3 shoot the entire nights including 2 from the rookie.... this team unless there is a big shake up is down. Won't be surprised if they make some big moves soon, not necessary to get better but to save money. If i was the owner, i will be pretty p... off to be in the second apron and get this level of team.

Jason Dumas reported that Joel Embiid and Kyle Lowry have been "most vocal" in the locker room during their rough start. I dont know what Embiid is saying to the others, but since his lack of professionalism is one of the root causes of their issues, then I hope he isnt giving them pep talks in the spirit of "going out there fighting and competing".

Its like a known lazy worker giving TED talks about work ethic.... that would just piss off his coworkers more.

I watched the 4th and also thought that Dillingham looked really good. He also ended up +26 in a game Wolves lost by 6. He had one blow by where he turned VanVleet into a practice cone and Sengun who had 1 foot in the paint at the start of the drive couldnt even get close to challenging his layup.

Jaden McDaniels made a real effort to build a house with all the bricks he laid. Wolves have lost their last 2 games by combined 8 points, and McDaniels in those two games is -31 with 19 points on 29 shots. He keeps this pace going and we may have to freeze his number in our rafters.

I dont think the Wolves stuff is nearly as bad as it's being sensationalized to be, but they have a super hard schedule right now, so them playing at a sub-optimal level can be fairly devastating and could put them in a position where they are playing for the 6-10 seed instead of the 2-5 seed.

McDaniels is so bad offensively. One of those players who should be grateful for Gobert because he would be getting a ton of flack for his ineptitude if Gobert wasnt there to take all the attention for being bad offensively.

I agree, even though I still hope things really blow up before they figure it out.

According to this website they have the 2nd hardest remaining schedule:

We secretly drafted McDaniels after all

Rudy play very well yesterday. 15 rebound, block last shoot of Sengun and ANT brick the final possessions at regular time. He take 3 shoot in 44 min WTF..... including 2 given by a rookie having 40 min of NBA experience... unbelievable... Randle is a turd and ANT think he is MJ..... recipe to disaster unless Finch or Mike put some order in there. I can see them under 50% if they don't address their issues.

Randle is such a losing type of player. And KAT for all his weaknesses had great chemistry with the rest of the team. They're in a deep hole unless they move Randle for something more cohesive to who they are

The Minnesota Timberwolves have now lost 4-games in a row after blowing a 12-point lead in the 4th quarter tonight. They fall to 8-10 on the season.

It is November 27th. They didn’t get their 10th loss until January 7th last season.

SAC found a way to win tonight on the road, they just pulled Jae Crowder off the street and started him!

Their backup big/PF situation is dire. John Collins would help them soooo much.

Streaky game, Kings also momentarily blew a big lead in the 3rd.

But good day for picks, Clevelands pick might be in play for #29 now

I called this but didnt think it was Ant who would come out first. I really dont like that. Its leadership.

However I'm fairly hopeful he cant get Randle to buy in on their last year's identity of "everyone plays hard on defense". Julius feels like the classic example of a "dude who just does his thing".
