The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Will be fascinating to see. They have his RFA rights, so they can match whatever he gets. Brooklyn has max space I believe, so they could make things hard for Philly.
An offer that starts in the 20M range puts Philly about 10M into the tax. Would mean they lose Yabu but they may not care. I just hope someone comes correct because then they have issues. Maxey/McCain/Grimes is fine but would be allocating a lot of the rosters talent/cap to combo/2 guards.... Grimes shifts up to the 3 tho (I realize some is interchangeable but Grimes isn't huge and Maxey McCain are a bit undersized). And then they have allocations to two huge somewhat immovable contracts.

May be an opportunity for some team to swipe Grimes or maybe force a sale of George (which will cost some assets).

Dallas may need to forfeit some games this season. They dont have any means to add players (they are out of 10 day contacts and hard capped to not exceed 1st apron with just 51k$ of space under the apron), and they only got 8 guys healthy atm. However Kessler Edwards can only be rostered in 1 more game and Brandon Williams has 5 games left (both are two way players who are about to hit the 50 game cap). So unless they get 2 guys back in a week they are not gonna have 8 healthy players to suit up.

Just to make it clear, Edwards and Williams have not appeared in 50 games, but they have been rostered in 49 and 45 games respectively.

Its a weird situation.. but they are either forced to dress injured players or forfeit games if they cannot get 8 healthy players to suit up. NBA rules say that you need to roster 8 players or forfeit the game.

Can't they "suit up" some injured players? They don't need to play, after all.

How long until Cody breaks Bronny’s new career high of 17?
There will be a game where cody hits a couple and gets loose. It is Mickey Mouse March and the Cody Hive will point to that game all summer.

I dont know if the health controls are stricter but dressing injured players to avoid forfeiting has happened before.

In fact few times it has lead to a situation where a team ran out of eligible players in a game, and a player who had already fouled out was therefore allowed to re-enter or stay in the game.

Robert Sacre did that for the Lakers in 2014 and Devean George for the Warriors in 2010.

Giddey is going for a quadruple double against Luka while blowing out the Lakers in LA.

Wondering what would his extension look like in the summer.
