I just don't trust their big 3 to stay healthy. And their big 3 needs to be healthy and play a lot of minutes if they're going to avoid the play-ins.Suns superteam is quietly stinking the joint. They have the 3rd worst record in the west for last 10 games (at 3-7, only Blazers 2-8 and Spurs 1-9 are worse) and are now tied with Golden State at the bubble.
Part of that is injuries, but here comes the real kicker...
They have played 15 games with both KD and Booker playing and are 8-7 in those games. Both KD and Booker have averaged over 35 minutes per game in those 15 games. That looks bad in itself but even worse when you look under the hood.
Wins:
Jazz x2 (both on the road), GSW x2 (home and road), Grizzlies (home), Blazers (home), Wizards (home) and Minny (home). So 6 of 8 wins coming against bottom 5 teams in West and 1 was against the Wizards. Minny was the only strong team they have beaten, and that was at home over a month ago. Also in December, that dynamic duo has only managed to beat Grizzlies and Wizards at home.
Losses are also mostly against meh or bad teams:
Spurs (home), Raptors (road), Nets (home), Knicks (home), Blazers (road), Kings (road), Lakers (road).
Neither do I. Nor do I trust their skillsets being complementary enough.I just don't trust their big 3 to stay healthy. And their big 3 needs to be healthy and play a lot of minutes if they're going to avoid the play-ins.
What if they trade for Duncan Robinson and get two for one?since their big 3 doesnt contain a Rodman, Shaq, Kareem, Duncan, Robinson, Parish or even Bosh, Draymond or Garnett type really
He has upped his game this year tremendously. For instance his 3 pointers have gone from 32% at 4.6 attempts last season to 44% at 7.0 attempts this season. What if they trade for Duncan Robinson and get two for one?
They had Dok playing 22 minutes last night. He did well though: 11pts on 5/5, 11rb/1bl/1st.Suns superteam is quietly stinking the joint. They have the 3rd worst record in the west for last 10 games (at 3-7, only Blazers 2-8 and Spurs 1-9 are worse) and are now tied with Golden State at the bubble.

Dang. Good for Dok.They had Dok playing 22 minutes last night. He did well though: 11pts on 5/5, 11rb/1bl/1st.
I actually didnt even see that game, but just noticed it was their first game this season without Nurkic. They had Dok playing 22 minutes last night. He did well though: 11pts on 5/5, 11rb/1bl/1st.
I did several times but I also don’t know that they were ever offering much to get off the deal. I thought they’d try and keep Strus which would send em to the mega tax.He has upped his game this year tremendously. For instance his 3 pointers have gone from 32% at 4.6 attempts last season to 44% at 7.0 attempts this season.
I think @Handlogten's Heros was one of those who wanted us to "take his contract for compensation" last year and in hindsight that would have been a brilliant move.
