The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Phoenix is in for a penny, in for a pound. What can they give us for John Collins?
It's literally impossible because they're unable to combine multiple players to meet the matching salary number as a 2nd apron team.

I think Walker Kessler is a better fit and is actually feasible. It would required a third team to make it work though and I think the only first they are able to trade is in 2031

So I’ve settled on a first option backup for what’s already beginning to look like our most pathetic or committed Tank season of all time - the Clippers! Next is Minny and then Cleveland. I never thought I’d be rooting for the Clips too, but that was before we gifted them our class AAA Bulldog, Kris Dunn.

We found him dead to rights, a project journeyman prospect that was prolly on his way to Asia or Europe had we not resuscitated his career. As it turns out, all he really needed was somebody to believe and give him a shot. He had the drive, he had the heart and the belief.

Now he goes to a team one year after the big dream team blow-up, with one aging playboy superstar and another with seriously bad knees. And Balmer only just springing for their own state of the art arena. Right away he beats out Hyland for that back-up point position.

Really fantastic numbers so far including a case for being the catalyst that sparked the win in Denver yesterday. Gotta go cause the Warriors are in town and KD the second is about to serve up a little payback for his Jazz Bros!!!

You know, Denver really could use Clarkson. MPJ is pretty static. Westbrook can't shoot. Braun is a 3D guy with straight-line drives. They could use some perimeter talent.

Westbrook is shooting under 10% from 3P (1/11).

I remember thinking mpj was going to be great a few years ago. Man he sucks.

I honestly didnt see Banchero being this good after his rookie year. Dude is insane scoring talent.

Orlando is so well set up. Think they overpaid Franz, but Suggs/Franz/Banchero is an insane trio moving forward and Black is looking great his 2nd year. Jazz really missed out on him or Bilal.
