The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Cody has the tools and half the game to be an NBA player. If he gets the other half, he'll be impactful. Just needs to work on his strength and shooting mostly, then rep out a few spots on the floor where he'll be asked to score. In that sense, there are similarities with NAW.

He has tool...good length. That's about it. There's probably hundreds of different wings that are just as similar to NAW as Cody is to NAW.

Tre Johnson got the start tonight for the wizards. 29 minutes and 18 points.

I can't believe the 18 year old on a disaster franchise is only averaging 14/7/3 so far.
Ya he was playing point guard for the Mavs lol. They are a mess. He is playing pretty well for an 18 year old.

Sarr is putting up absolute monster individual numbers while also anchoring easily the worst defense in NBA history so I don't know how well this is going, lol.

Like... Pretty well I guess, but there's pretty conflicting info.

So far, this Wizards team is the worst team in NBA history...

Free throw rate has skyrocketed this season. It's a result of the NBA drawing a line on the Shai stuff and saying it is indeed the defenders fault if the offensive player rams into the defender. Good for FT merchants like Key, bad for people who don't like FT fests.

Key is one of a few players who seem to have unsustainable FTr jumps, but maybe it's not sustainable given the new officiating points of emphasis? Notable players who have jumped to a FTr >50%

Keyonte George
Stephon Castle
Deni Avdija
Austin Reaves
Alph Sengun
Paolo Banchero

Anyone who can take advantage of these rules are feasting. Getting to the foul line is by far the most efficient offense.

Off topic but the thing I hate the most is the extreme flop.
Divencinco (?) last game got grazed on the nose and threw his head back like he was shot by a shotgun.
I have been in a good number of fights in my day and have had my *** kicked a few times and took power punches square the face and never reacted like that.
And I'm just using him as an example cause it just happened last night but it happens almost every game.
Some times the player literally doesn't even get touched and they will be on the ground holding their face.
I wish something could be done.
Bugs the **** out of me

I swear whenever I watch Chicago Buzelis is extremely unimpressive. I see his box scores and know that he has had many great games, but for whatever reason when I tune in it's like the singing frog.
