The Official Jazzfanz Termonology Thread

Irregardless of how you use this word, it is the best way to put a burr under colton's saddle.

I have to admit it always cracks me up when radio guy PK says "irregardless" to deliberately get a reaction and then people call/text him, all up in arms.

The STG.

It's kind of like an STD. Nobody really wants to be openly associated with it.

strict constructionists generally think of it as a mere preposition that relates one noun to another, while those who allow for looser interpretations of the rules of grammar also think of it as a transitive verb indicating to hold or acquire for use; or as an auxillary verb used with the past participle to form the present perfect, past perfect, or future perfect

example: I must of been crazy to think anyone would understand this.

It should be noted that this is one of Colton's pet peeves.

I would of thought he would of been more lenient than that.

This is true. I just laugh when I see "irregardless", but the "of instead of have" error really drives me up a wall.

English may be the most horribly constructed language ever. There are fewer rules than contradictions to them, and it's almost like it was designed to be corrupted.

Contractions. Admit it. "should've" sounds a lot more like "should of" than "should have". If you take just a fraction of a second to think about it, "should of" makes absolutely no sense, but it's easy to understand why this mistake is made.

Well.. I drink fire water and UGLI bleaches his hair..

Just the tips though, right?
