I have to admit it always cracks me up when radio guy PK says "irregardless" to deliberately get a reaction and then people call/text him, all up in arms.

This is true. I just laugh when I see "irregardless", but the "of instead of have" error really drives me up a wall.

English may be the most horribly constructed language ever. There are fewer rules than contradictions to them, and it's almost like it was designed to be corrupted.

Contractions. Admit it. "should've" sounds a lot more like "should of" than "should have". If you take just a fraction of a second to think about it, "should of" makes absolutely no sense, but it's easy to understand why this mistake is made.
