The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Yeah, sure, that's what I'm saying. Lol.

I just never forgot NPC D4617's answer from that old thread. And when I saw this Washington Post scoop, I found it interesting that a guy on this forum, who likes to troll liberals, he admitted as much to me in one of the threads, thinks the same way as our Troll-in-Chief. And that fact makes sense to me.

Just something I didn't forget, if only because we discussed it at the time, and it cannot be denied that we have interfered in the politics of other nations, and on the sly, via the CIA. And, like I said in the comment you are replying to, I'm guessing that is the attitude of some percentage of Americans. I also recall that, at the time I posted that "Is Russia trying to help Trump?" thread, some responses amounted to "yeah, so what?" That also greatly puzzled me, since, at the time, I agreed with John McCain that it amounted to an attack on our country. And, so I did wonder, how could any American respond to an attack with a "so what?" response?

So, I was thinking about all that when I made the comment you are replying to. Just a personal aside I suppose, I do that now and then. Forgive me, lol....
I was kidding.

It's getting really tiring having to point out to active participants in this thread how incorrect this is.

The prosecutor was explicitly not investigating the company Hunter Biden worked for. He was actively resisting its investigation. That's why he was fired. Stop repeating something you all should know by now is not true.

That same prosecutor filed a sworn affidavit to the contrary this week. Maybe it's being investigated, but I suppose you know better sitting on your couch in Draper.

There is also a separate Intelligence Community Whistleblowers Act, which does largely guarantee anonymity. That's the purpose of having the whistleblower go through the intelligence community inspector general as has widely been reported. I found this document by Congressional Research Service discussing that act. I bolded the "shall not."

Intelligence Community Whistleblower
Protections

(page 3)
Section 7(b) of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) provides for the identity of an employee making a complaint, such as a whistleblower, to remain undisclosed to the extent practicable:
The Inspector General shall not, after receipt of a complaint or information from an employee, disclose the identity of the employee without the consent of the employee, unless the Inspector General determines such disclosure is unavoidable during the course of the investigation.

Okay, makes sense. He can testify behind closed doors still, as he's obviously the first key witness.

There's not really any other way to read that. Maybe you should enlighten me as to what you actually meant.
I'm not going to go back and reread the posts but I twice said that Kavanaugh had been accused of outrageous behavior. He twice told me that if I thought the accusations were outrageous I must be a sheltered little flower or something like that. He said this even after I pointed out the gang rape accusations. I'm not sure whether I worded my response exactly right, but it seems ridiculous to suggest that I am naive because believe that Swetnick's allegations were extreme. IMO the libs keep overplaying their hand in this way. The vast majority of people get sick of it and simply tune them out.

Remember that time you said the mainstream media wouldn’t cover a story and @Zombie took a screenshot of 10 different mainstream news outlets reporting that story? He seems to know much more sitting on his couch in Draper than you do.

I'm actually only aware of this time. If I felt that way prior, I might have said as much prior. Barr cleverly, slyly, dulled the impact the Mueller Report might have had, so it did not happen then. That's just how I feel about this week of cascading bad news for Trump.

I thought he had taken an oath to protect and defend the constitution. I thought, as the Commander-in-Chief, that it would be strange for the Commander to simply forgive Russia for attacking us. Very strange to tell the Russian ambassador to the US, and the Russian Foreign Minister that Russia's interference in our election did not concern him. Does he know Russia was our chief geopolitical adversary of the past 70 plus years? I should think our Commander-in-Chief would know that, and act appropriately. Does not look like that was the case.

Quite honestly, my opinion that is, I do not think Donald Trump is on our side. And that dam? That's the dam holding back all these revelations that are currently pouring forth. The dam has indeed broke. And I am not aware of this degree of cascading revelations, over such a short time, happening prior. Hence my comment.

And it pleases me, yes indeed, it pleases me. Not that my country should have to go through all this. But pleased that the truth will out. I believe that's what recent events portend, the truth will out. I'm all about that. Truth. It's very important to me. It's the kind of guy I am. My friends find it to be an admirable quality. And I admire those for whom truth is always the goal. We live but once. I prefer to live with honor. I cannot say my president is an honorable man. Pretty sad, really.

Things are coming into sharper focus. His encouragement of Russian interference in 2016 was not a one off. He's a lawless president.

I have my location clearly listed in my bio, so he didn't even get that part right. Par for the course I suppose.

Prove it! I'm gonna need audio and video evidence of her saying it along with a transcripts and everything must be time and date stamped too.

Oh and I have to be there when it happens!

I will bet you 100 dollars that you can't prove it!

Not sure what your point is. She made all of these claims and more in a sworn affidavit.
