Budgeting is about making choices. That is the guns or butter concept.
if we are going to say “can we really afford” healthcare then should we not be challenging “can we really afford” our ginormous military?
Maybe we should’ve cutting both instead of passing along a $20 trillion credit card to for our kids to pay.
I’m glad the kids are fighting back with “hey boomer”, although many of their ideas are terrible and only make the situation worse.
I want to drastically cut the scope and size of government and increase taxes to pay down the debt. Feel pretty guilty about our selfishness and what we are doing to the next generations.
