MSM can be as anti-Trump or anti-your particular version of pro-American all they want. That wasn't the issue at hand.

The issue is that it is VERY common for pro-Trump folks to say the reason, the primary basis for anti-Trump sentiment is based in lies told by the MSM.

I dislike Trump largely based on his personality type. I've known people with a similar personality type in real life, and completely separate from their political views, I don't like those people. It's an ugly, petty, delusional personality type and Trump is the very epitome of it.

I don't like Trump based on the words that come out of his mouth and his body language. He's utterly detestable and I felt that way about him the first time I saw him on SNL like 20 or 30 years ago. I watched about 10min of "The Apprentice" and had enough because I find him so repulsive. I had no idea about his background then. Certainly didn't know what his political leanings were. I just thought he was a blowhard jackass that needed his ego stroked. And that's exactly what he is. Then I find out about the Central Park 5, the "grab 'em by the *****" and that he's essentially a nationalist who has attracted racists and bigots to his cause and it starts to go beyond just finding his personality disgusting. It starts to be about what I want this country to be and let me tell you, I'm pro-American and the America I want is not the same one Trump wants. And I get a say just as much as anyone else, any other citizen, because this is my country too.

Trump says enough via twitter, interviews, rallies and press conferences to form a qualified opinion of him; there's no mainstream media necessary to recognize how ****ed up he is.

This is a fairly articulate and reasoned post, and I recognize you are doing some self-evaluation here. Probably Colton has this sort of view, and reasons, behind the cut and paste posts he does, maybe even Thriller. I think Red is a desperately consistent true believer in what he reads in the MSM, but he didn't need the MSM to form his world view to begin with. Probably need to look at his professor friends and personal contacts more.

All my point is that, objectively, the MSM is pretty much a screed today that doesn't do any balanced reporting...... yah.... I see it sometimes. Once in a few weeks i'm somewhere where I have nothing better I can do.

Not hard to see that the MSM giants are part of a very determined rundown of whatever can sound bad for Trump.

I think it's fair enough to figure that the ownership is responsible for the bias and the choice of materials they run. It shows their position in the world today.

Dem party leadership is barely distinguishable from the MSM in most respects. And that can fairly enough be attributed to ownership as well.

This is no damn "conspiracy". It's public political incitement, and I think it's toxic.

Whatever your reasons for being concerned about Trump, I think drinking too deep from the Media is going to poison your reason.

How long have you been outta college?

I mean, in the real world you will begin to see some nuance and inconsistent/incoherent realities that just don't really fit the model you've been sold. When it comes to breaking down something like the NWO...."New World Order", the first thing you need to figure out is that is it is not an objective reality. It's a slogan. It's cute, it's concise, it's symbolic. Maybe there are some people who understand it in pretty consistent terms, but human beings are rarely consistent with their ideas, beliefs, loves. We are all "mixed up". Our humanity prevails, hopefully, against our logic. Well, maybe it will when you get away form college for a few years and maybe work an actual job.

Hitler had his dream of the Third Reich, Russian nationalist Gogol had his visions of a wonderful, shining Russia, the City on the Hill, shining alabaster white. The Christians have their City Four Square or the Throne of God or whatever damn dream of singing songs to Jesus. The NWO is like that.

Pretty damn sure the Chinese smile at us for our stupidity, tell us what they see we want to hear, and live to bring home the glory their own way.

I bet if I went looking I could find a lot of asinine partisan material made up to just insult the progressives. It might be even Trump's off-the-cuff rally speeches are like that, certainly they must be seein in that light by progressives. But if things have gone off the rails for the "NWO" or progressive campaign, we should not replace that failed view with chimpchatter. OK?

Seems to me that a lot of what you say is based upon the worst possible interpretation of his motives. Much of this stuff is so pervasive in the mainstream media that people getting their news exclusively from those sources see it all as fact.

Maybe you can see noble motives in things like this, but I cannot.
