The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Please define the form such evidence would take, for you.

I'm not on trial here. The real question is what claims and spin are not credible. Seems to me any and everything thrown at the wall is being considered legitimate proof. It doesn't have to even stick, and little if any has stuck.

So what in that pile of spaghetti lying on the floor should have stuck? David Holmes maybe?

Hilary clinton was on the howard stern show and I found this interesting:
Clinton attended (Trumps inauguration speech) as a sense of duty, she said despite people telling her, “Don’t go,” and it being “one of the hardest days of my life.” But she said Bush lightened the mood a little.

so bizarre. That’s when I got really worried. I thought: Wait a minute. It’s not rational, but it’s also not politics. It’s not what a president does. A president is supposed to try to reach out to people who weren’t for him or her... I hoped I would hear a little of that but then the carnage in the street and the dark dystopian vision. I was sitting there like just: Wow. I couldn’t believe it, and George W. Bush says to me, ‘Well that was some weird sh**.’”

Good ol' george W

Because being partisan is all about political party.
Hating Trump has nothing to do with political party, not for me anyway.

I promise you from the bottom of my heart that if trump were a Democrat I would hate him every bit as much as I do now. And instead of people calling me a liberal lefty Democrat they would call me a conservatives righty republican.

I fully believe you. I dont understand why you are taking exception to being labeled a partisan since you've made your stance very clear and wear it as a badge of honor. You are against Trump, you want him out regardless and don't really care how or why because he is such a vile person unworthy of holding the office. If you don't want your support for that cause to be labeled or seen as partisan, as it clearly is, then there's nothing I can do for ya.

If you're not partisan, that is not against Trump and want him removed no matter what then say so and i will believe you.

I havent taken such an exception to anything. My original post in this conversation with you was 3 words long lol. Doesn't really qualify as "such an exception" imo.

I fully agree with your 3rd sentence. (me being against trump and wanting him out and dont care how because he is unworthy of holding the office)
I haven't asked you to do anything for me.
Your last sentence is worded in a confusing manner but i will try to make sense of it. Im not partisan. I am against trump and want him removed not matter what.

Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano on Wednesday said if he were in Congress, he would “certainly” vote to impeach President Donald Trump.

Appearing on “America’s Newsroom,” Napolitano said he believed “the Democrats have credibly argued that [Trump] committed impeachable offenses” in the Ukraine scandal.

“The easiest one, because this existed in Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, is obstruction of Congress,” he explained. “So, by directing his subordinates to refuse to comply with lawfully issued subpoenas, whether it’s for testimony or for documents, that’s an impeachable offense.”

“We know that from history, every time the House of Representatives has looked at that with respect to a president, they found it to be impeachable,” Napolitano added. “On that, reasonable minds cannot disagree without rejecting history and without rejecting constitutional norms.”

So according to this Fox News senior judicial analyst (whatever that means) trump should be impeached for obstruction of congress since he has directed his subordinates to refuse to comply with lawfully issued subpoenas. which is also an impeachable offense.

Can we impeach the Democratic Congress for obstructing the presidency?

I dont have a problem with him obstructing congress if they are up to no good and aren't holding a fair hearing. Why do people overlook that side of it? Two sides to every story

nice or nasty to him now has access to a nuclear arsenal is no laughing matter. And yet, at the NATO summit in London Tuesday, it appears they may just have been laughing at him again. This time it was Justin Trudeau, Emmanuel Macron, and even Boris Johnson.

What were they laughing at? Just trump being trump lol. Take your pick. My favorite is the last one.

TRUMP: "Climate change is very important to me. I've done many environmental impact statements over my life and I believe very strongly in very, very crystal clear, clean water and clean air. That's a big part of climate change."

TRUMP: "A friend of mine called up. A top person in New York called up. Great friend of mine, very successful. 'Gee, I didn't like what was said.' I said, 'where'd you see it? Did you read it?' 'No, I didn't read it, I heard Schiff give it.' I said, 'well that's not what I said'"

TRUMP: "Hopefully in the very long distant future you'll have a Democrat president. You'll have a Republican House. They’ll do the same thing. Because somebody picked an orange out of a refrigerator and you don’t like it, so let’s go and impeach him.”

Speaking above a ticker that shows the Dow down more than 400 points today, Trump ludicrously claims that "I don't watch the stock market."

Trump on the Kurds: "We have taken the oil. I've taken the oil. We should have done it in other locations, frankly, where we were. I can name four of them right now, but we've taken the oil ... our great soldiers are right around the oil where we've got the oil."

A. Its simply Congress, not the Democratic Congress (there are memebers of the republican party in congress silly)
B. Its literally the job of Congress to obstruct (checks and balances) the president. If they dont then we have a dictator at that point.
Hope that clears things up for you.
C. No we can not impeach Congress. (surprised you didn't know this... Well not totally surprising actually)

Not sure if this has been posted yet:
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) has broken ranks with President Donald Trump and many of his GOP allies, declaring Tuesday that he is “1,000% confident” that Russia, not Ukraine, interfered in the 2016 U.S. election.

His view contradicts a conspiracy theory backed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and peddled by Trump and others in his party that Ukraine meddled in the presidential election and framed the Russians.

“It was the Russians. I’m 1,000% confident that the hack of the [Democratic National Committee] was by Russian operatives, no one else,” Graham told reporters on Capitol Hill.

Graham is usually a devoted Trump defender. He has blocked a Senate resolution to formally recognize the Armenian genocide at the behest of the White House, opened a formal investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden’s work in Ukraine despite the claims of corruption being widely discredited and unsubstantiated, and repeatedly denied unfavorable but damning testimony against Trump during the impeachment inquiry.
