I'll help. Living in U.S. offer some major benefits. I would say career development, freedom of speech and diversity (in major cities), are some of the biggest. Quality of education is decent but only when you can afford it. Same goes with healthcare. On the other hand, U.S. is also lacking in major areas when compared to other developed countries (or even third-world ones): high taxes but terrible access to health, education, housing and overall rising inequality. Gun violence is another one. Cost of living is so high and access to some services so crappy, that you can easily enjoy greater quality of life by living overseas after you retire: see the increasing number of expats living in Mexico or places like Cuenca, Ecuador.
