Step 2 -- blame the "others" for the killing
Step 3 -- play hero tough guy who will bring the "others" to justice
Step 4 -- feed radiation to anyone who asks too many questions

He did it with apartment bombings while Boris Yeltsin was in power.

He did it with the Chechen rebel hostage situation. What is 100% certain in that one is that he refused to negotiate only to storm the school and kill more kids than rebels.

The whole impetus behind the invasion was de-Nazification, its a bit heavy handed with the swastika t-shirt from a propaganda stand point but you know; these Nazis, must be stopped.

If and if is a big word we believe these reports of thousands of Russians fleeing the press gang (sorry call up) then this could be a measure to try to stabilise things internally. Its dire straights for Putin if this is the case, lets say he managed to mobilise 150,000 men how the **** is he going to supply and equip them when he can't even supply the troops he has in the field?
