The R.I.P. Thread

Eww. Sounds like the season ticket holders trying to sell on ksl. Been trying to take my kid to a game but $40 each for row 20 uppers? GTFO.

About a week ago i bought 2 tickets from the jazz website for 39 dollars each on the first row of the upper bowl.

Not bad. Cheapest right now are $45, against Orlando, on a Wednesday, in section 101 (so you only get to watch 1 side of play, really). Those seats are $23 apiece on average to season ticket holders. I imagine a Wednesday game against Orlando is less, where others are more. But they ask 2x paid price and many won't get sold.

Also Super Dave Osborne and Mean Gene Okerlund died. And they were all 76 years old - spooky .

I called my Dad today and told him he should thank his lucky stars he's turning 77 on Sunday!
Was gonna post Super Dave.

The ones I bought were for the Cavs a few weeks from now. On a Friday.

Growing up i considered Super Dave as that fun uncle that did crazy ****. He will be missed. His role on Curb was great too.

Dick Miller passed away recently. Youll remember him most from the gremlins movies.

I can’t think of one solid American actor under the age of 40 who can carry a legit movie.

Once Hanks, Denzel, Cruise, Pitt and a handful of others pass, cinema is really going to be lacking legit American star power. Cooper’s probably the closest thing to it but he’s over 40.

I rather like Chris pine in a lot of his stuff. He might be over 40 though.

Hollywood always finds/creates/hypes the talent they need (although I have hesitancy ascribing talent to Cruise and Pitt).
