Jazz are 9th in the NBA in Operating Income (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization)
When you look at the 8 teams in front of them - all of which are in major/mega-markets with the exception of San Antonio, who have won multiple championships in the past 15 years - I would say this is a major financial accomplishment.
This is what happens when you have a monopoly on professional sports in your state, a loyal fan base and are 28th in payroll.
Of course as far as wins on the basketball court are concerned.....that's looking more and more like a secondary matter.
