What's new

They Are Watching You

no, I assumed that NSA had data like that and more. . (I saw that Will Smith / Gene Hackman movie) but that does not mean that Obama has diverted all government employees from their duties to work on his re-election campaign and/or a master plan to implement fascism.

Obama is nothing if he is not totally committed to "winning" for his "team", and in fact there are plenty of government employees who wouldn't blanch about doing all they possibly can to help, too. I think I can stand by my assertion that Obama does use his position like I said, but he really hardly needs to. . . . so many people in government today have the idea it is in fact a virtue if they use every possible bit of information/influence/power they can to build up the new ubergovernment. It's a "cause" worth working for.

every American who does not mind what the government is doing should gtfo and go to a 3rd world country and take that punk Obama with you.
because this is unamerican.

hate on me all you want. send me neg rep. send me a pm. or give me an infraction.

this **** is ridiculous.
not only are they spying on americans but on people worldwide. obama gtfo

I see many government employees who are anti-Obama, or anti-Democrat,

After what happened to Bradley Manning, I don't blame him.

I think there is a time and place that could, and should, open a whistle blower to criminal charges. Did Manning's admissions endanger troops in the field or other American servicemen( FBI, CIA...)?

To my knowledge, none of them revealed current activities.

Then did it pertain to ongoing investigations or something similar.

Basically, just becasue you blew the whistle on something should not automatically give you a protected status. I do not know enough about the Manning case to say if he should or should not be protected.

I do not think the guy that blew the whistle on the NSA should face any reprisals.

"the National Security Agency's massive data gathering operations, the agency is putting the finishing touches on its biggest data farm yet. The gargantuan $1.2 billion complex at a National Guard base 26 miles south of Salt Lake City features 1.5 million square feet of top secret space. High-performance NSA computers alone will fill up 100,000 square feet..."

to those unamerican ******** hwho say they have nothing to hide and such.

**** AMERICA

The sad thing is that Dutch ain't saying anything against America that Obama's black church preacher hasn't said for the last 20 years or so.

Hell, it is probably the liberal church prayer up on capital hill.

What do you think oil is? It is the engine of our freedom and way of life. It is in everyone's interest that we keep the black gold flowing.

I love how all the morons on ksl are blaming the (current) president for this. Lol. Yes.... Congress has no responsibility.... No other president can be blamed.... It's all Obama.

Because, obviously bush never pushed through and passed the Patriot Act while these same morons bitching now were cheerleading his constitutional trampling then. Because the government never spied on anyone in the 80s.... And that whole red scare thing? Yeah... Just something made up in the history books.... Because the government never spied on anyone until now.

The bottom line is, regardless of whether your boy is in the White House, stand up for freedom. Or security. But decide which and stick with it. dont change because a R is in the white house or a D. be true to yourself. Enough partisan games.

It's just so funny how suddenly now repubs are concerned about freedom while they were silent or waving the pompoms as their boy pissed all over the constitution. Had Romney been elected I'm sure all the bitchers right now would be praising him for keeping is safe.

Ya bitch if something bad happens and demand security. Then you bitch when security is provided.

What the hell does this country want? Other than to bitch until their boy gets elected?

If anyone even suggests repealing the pat act they're instantly labeled as being soft on terrorism. Surrendering. What does this country want?

Couldn't agree more. The Gov't has been spying on its citizen way before technology became an issue. Technology has just made it easier to do.

You mean like when Dick Cheney outed Valerie Plume or when Fox News outed the Seal 6 Navy seal who killed Osama.

The government can listen to any of my calls they'd like, read my texts (even the sexy picture ones), and follow me on the gps for all I care.

thats exactly unpatriotic and unamerican of you.
you dont deserve american freedom and rights

you punk.

spying is only ok if a white repub is in office. Otherwise, it's bad.

What's funny, is that the NSA was blasted after 9/11 for not being more aggressive. LOL. If the Golden Gate Bridge or Wall Street were blown up tomorrow by terrorists, the same people wearing their tea party clothes and carrying their LIBERTY OR DIE flags bitching about the NSA spying on us would be bitching about Obama and how the government didn't protect us. Obama should have lost his patience like 5 years ago and told the GOP to go to hell. He should have gone George W all over their asses and stuffed the single payer system, tax increases on the rich, and steep regulations on wall street down Congress's throats. "You're either with us or against us" to unify his own party and to clearly isolate the GOP against the will of the American people.

It's just so sad that the GOP still plays this game better than the Democrats despite not having a solid piece of legislation proposed in over a decade.

It's not 1776 anymore. Lets come to grips with global terrorism and understand that spying will and should occur.

You mean like when Dick Cheney outed Valerie Plume or when Fox News outed the Seal 6 Navy seal who killed Osama.

What's your point here? That because Dick Cheney and Fox News did it everyone should be able to do it? Or, is it just a way of telling Stoked to shut up since "his side" has done the same?

Hopefully you can see how destructive this sort of logic is.
