Well, its not a non story. The real story is how the media reports this stuff. They pushed the story that this guy was harrased and taunted. They paraded him around on TV telling his lies. The deliberately didnt show the truth.
This thread just proves exactly what I have been saying bout CNN and these fake news outlets. Not posting the entire story and pushing a narrative is fake news. Thats where you really need to admit that you are wrong. They cant be trusted. They are at the root of the problems in this country. This story proves that.

It's sad how people react to things like that. Even if those kids did everything they were said to do (and video proof shows they obviously didn't), how people responded to this family is wrong.
We, all of us, need to be better.
You say that this story proves the "fake news outlets" are at the root of the problems in this country. This story does not, in fact, establish a causal link. You're going to have to try harder.

The media picks up what people find interesting. The video went viral on the internet, and "the media" of course picked it up and started talking about it. That doesn't mean racism is not a motivator for a lot of Trump supporters. It also doesn't mean the media is a conspiracy to take out Trump because they're marxist leftists or whatever it is you believe.

I think parts of the media continuing to run with the original story, 12 plus hours after contradictory video had been released, is a problem. I think it's more than fair to say that. I would say it's a large problem. We should expect better from our media, don't you think?
