KOC actually stockpiled second rounders, fat lot of good that did us. I'll convert them to Jordon Clarkson all day long if it is up to me.As Jazz fans we should really be desensitized to trading 2nd rounders. The FO just clearly values them more as trade pieces to obtain fringe players with experience than they do as draft picks to obtain fringe players without experience.
Yes... I was more speaking to the trades and contracts he hands out... seems sloppy around the edges or that he doesn't negotiate hard enough... like could we have gotten this deal (that they needed to do) for just cash... the GS second is a pick in the 40s which isn't too bad, but we also don't have any second rounders for infinity at this point. Also kind of why I really like DL. I think he definitely has a talent for finding guys on the fringes.
There’s a supply-side problem with your fantasy.KOC actually stockpiled second rounders, fat lot of good that did us. I'll convert them to Jordon Clarkson all day long if it is up to me.
I can imagine you spending countless hours trying to trick the AI into trading you Luka, Ja or KD. Out of curiosity what is your starting lineup in Year 2? I remember in NBA 2k20 I got Brandon Clarke and Dejounte Murray early onIt's funny how the Jazz are building a roster so much like the ones I used to build on NBA2K.
I always had a ton of shooters and a shot blocking center. The backup center was also a rim protector. My best offensive player was an all around type guy who could hit tough 3's.
The main thing - shooters everywhere.
Also, Thomas is kind of a Clarkson-esque acquisition. He’s a guy that can come off the bench as a microwave. Sure, different way of getting his points, but the comparison stands.KOC actually stockpiled second rounders, fat lot of good that did us. I don’t give a **** about second rounders, yes... I know we got guys like Millsap and Russell in the second and Mo Williams and others there, but I just don’t care. Most never get off the bench, or it takes years in most cases, so why not let other teams develop these guys for us.As Jazz fans we should really be desensitized to trading 2nd rounders. I was going to rip into you in this but... I think you’re right. I’m only counting 14. I could be wrong. If we still have a roster spot then cool, let’s ride along. This move doesn’t bother me. It’s still all about the buyout market.Weren't we required to get Ersan to get to the Minimum roster requirement? I don't think we have to cut anyone to add a player on the buyout market.
He played at ISU. Did he and Niang play together?
We had an open spot but will need to waive someone when OP walks through that door.I was going to rip into you in this but... I think you’re right. I’m only counting 14. I could be wrong. Even when that player doesn't crack your rotation?Any time you can turn a second rounder into a legit NBA player, it's a huge win.
Yeah, our next 2nd round pick is in 2025 lmao.Yes... Just always seems to give like 30% too much and in any one deal its not an issue but it slowly adds up.
He carries some legal baggage with a domestic violence case.Wow, Sac is getting Terrence Davis for pretty much the same price we paid to get Matt Thomas. Crazy
