Trade Deadline thread (FEB 23rd 3pm EST)

I'd probably do that as the Pacers. Not sure why LA would if they think they have a shot at him in FA.

Yeah I think the only reason they trade anything for him is to get him a year earlier and endure that Indy can't give him more money. But that's not even that big of a chance.

Better to keep all your assets and s9gn him in free agency.

Uhh, you are aware they cant sign FA's above the MLE when they are over the LT like they will be once they re-sign Griffin. This trade gets them a draft pick and 3 pretty good rotation players to give them depth.

I kind of think that we'll see a Spurs type handshake Arrangement going on in La this summer. Both their Superstars are going to opt out and not sign until after the Clippers have secured free agency Target. They won't trade Griffin

I thought I read that somewhere.

Anyway it's still better to trade DeAndre. He's hardly a franchise player.

Are you insane? Jordan stays healthy and is one of the best defenders/rebounders in the NBA. Griffin is nice, but I think the Clippers would be better with that package of players over Griffin.

Does that work? I have no idea how cap holds or w/e work in those situations.

Blake's a superstar. You don't trade him for Wilson Chandler & a bag of chips.

Lol Cy has gone to new heights with this arguing ********. I think he challenges himself everyday to see what he can make people believe. That's a horrible trade for LAC.
